Rabbit Hole ✨

In the fall of 2009, I discovered my first intuition book. I started reading it the exact month of my Saturn Return, at 25 degrees Virgo 😅 For any astrology buffs, that return is when your soul makes sure you find your path. Saturn has now made its way to Aries, completing the halfway journey around the Zodiac wheel, bringing all of this into focus. It feels like the end of my learning phase. I went deep - not surprising with three heavy hitters in Virgo. Radio show in 2014 and 2015. Teaching intuitive healing from 2016 🙌🏻

Diary of a Psychic Healer documents this journey. Here is a recap, with links to some of my favorite blog entries along the way. Enjoy!

This was before my Saturn Return, but it reflects my astrology chart.

Saturn Return Kick Off (5 Core Areas)
  • Memoir and creative writing in February 2009. One of these short stories is mentioned in my book, Chakra Healing & MagickI won’t say more so as not to spoil the surprise 🫶🏻 Amazon Here 🔮
  • Psychic Development at The College of Psychic Studies in London. I signed up for weekly classes in May 2010 and stayed until January 2014. Then I went back for more in the summer of 2015. I've listed those classes and workshops below, along with a selection of blog posts. At the time, I worked in consumer healthcare & marketing - two worlds collided (happily)
  • Energy Healing Course at the School of Intuition & Healing in the UK. Looking back, I still can't believe I completed this training. We had 18 full-day workshops over a two year period, with several assignments and 85 client sessions to graduate. It was a lot to do, while working full time, but I loved every minute. Sept 2010 - May 2012. None of those workshops are covered below.

  • Usui Reiki: When I finished energy healing school, I wanted to volunteer at a cancer center but the hospital only allowed Reiki. So I signed up for a workshop with Michael Kauffmann, and it blew my mind! Reiki is easy to channel; it can be used for hands on healing and also to activate our intuition. Six days of class in 2012 and 2013, becoming a Reiki Master in May of 2013. We learned a lot: self-reiki, giving and teaching Reiki, automatic and distant healing, space clearing, clearing and programing crystals, reiki homeopathy, meditation.
🫶🏻 Scroll down for key moments from psychic school studies and beyond. Please note: I am not a psychologist. All of the tools that I have studied are complementary to medical care, not alternative.

If instead, you're ready to dive right in, my books are available below.

🐇 The Rabbit Hole Part of my Journey

In chronological order, here are the rest of the classes. Looking back, I’ve applied most of these themes, and not just taken lessons.

The workshops lasted a full day - anything less than that, I won’t mentionWith the 10 or 12 week classes at CPS or SIH, we would meet for two hours each week.
  • Kabbalah 1 & 2 at the Kabbalah Centre in London (Summer & Fall 09)
  • Could I be a Healer with Natasha Wojnow - 4 weeks (Feb 2010)
  • Weekly Spirit Guides class with Michelle Hawcroft (May-Dec 2010). Michelle would tell us that we can help people heal with what we said to them ✨ this shaped my approach.

  • Weekly Angel Intuition with Amanda Roberts at CPS from May 2011 - December 2012. This class was lovely; we connected with archangels and after a few terms, goddess energies. I skipped the summer term in 2012 when the energy healing accreditation was too much. This class was a lot of fun - I would often get pop culture references Pretty Woman 🎥
  • Self Love Manifesting Workshop at CPS - I still have a gold heart memento from class 🤍
  • Kabbalah 3 at the Kabbalah Centre UK - early  2013
  • Listening & Responding at a cancer center in May 2013. We went through what to say, how to say it and what not to say. This training was aimed at sitting with patients & families.
  • Intro to Cancer Treatments & Complementary Therapies at a cancer hospital, 2013. What to expect, and basic guidelines for each complementary therapy.
  • Channeling: 8 Weeks at the School of Intuition Healing - Sept 2013.
  • Zohar Class at the Kabbalah Centre, most of 2013. This was my favorite from the Kabbalah Center - it looks at the weekly astrology, and a mystical interpretation of the Torah 🫶🏻

In January, 2014 I left London and moved to Mexico where I've lived ever since. I took classes for fun 💛
  • Lucid Dreaming Workshop in 2014 where I failed spectacularly. Two days of trying to fall asleep and not fall asleep 🕯️
    • Awakening the Illuminated Heart Workshop in Mexico City - four days of meditation and manifesting in March of 2015. I am not into a lot of the New Age concepts in this class, but the manifesting meditation is great and I took it again in 2019.

    • Tarot & Angel Card Reader Class with Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine in 2015. Six or eight weeks. This was a Christmas gift. Doreen has an MA in psychology and she included lots of practical tips. Note: Doreen abandonned and denounced spiritual things converting to Christianity. I have studied with 45 teachers - one changing track doesn’t make a difference, in the big picture. It was a good class.
I went back to London for a summer for the last level of angels, and I dove into astrology:
    • Mediumship workshop at SIH. The class was lovely, but I was still blocking mediumship that day - have been from the start. We don’t have to do everything.
    Clairvoyant Meditation from 2015

    Life Expands in Mexico 🇲🇽

This was when I began teaching - it was great but the dynamic shifted a lot. Met lots of wonderful people. 🙌🏻  I was lucky to come across a wonderful holistic center where I taught angels, intuition, tarot, astrology, and reiki. I also volunteered with mainstream meditation at a hospital ✨

    Took more classes too.
    • Failed attempt at A Course in Miracles: November 2015 to early 2016. This class is great, well worth it, but it’s just not for me. I quit this quickly, but made good friends.
    • Predictive Astrology class with a fellow astrologer and blogosphere friend, Nic (2016). The following year I became a guest blogger on her site, focusing on energy healing and magick.
    • Practical Kabbalah with a fantastic teacher in Mexico. I had already been into Kabbalah for 7-8 years before meeting Dalia Siman but her classes made a huge difference. We taught at the same school. My first class with Dalia was in October 2016 and I took her weekly class for 2.5 years. As I am writing this, I think I have reached the end of my Kabbalah studies - it's a wonderful path. After taking that class, I had lots of aha-moments.
        • Spring 2016-2018: A weekly circle with a group of healers and psychics. We all took turns presenting topics: astrology, crystals, tarot, meditation, Kabbalah. The highlight may have been 6 months on the 13 Clan Mothers and the Moon, based on Jamie Sams book of Spiritual Psychology. Amazing.
        • Planets & Numerology - Feb 2017. Six weeks on numerology,  - it was a theoretical class that looked at lots of topics. Mainly, how to integrate planets - I went back for the next round of classes✨
        • Spiritual Psychology 2017: One of my college friends is a spiritual psychologist - she set up a 12 week class where we learned to work through our own baggage. We also looked at manifesting. The class was geared towards inner work.
          • Theta Healing Basic DNA: three-day workshop on energy healing that I absolutely loved. It's very similar to my energy healing school so I didn't continue with their classes, but I read a lot of their books and they are really fantastic. August 2017.
          • Time Travelers Guide to the Universe + Intro to Quantum Physics with Denise Linn and her brother (a university physics professor). I had a lot of fun with this class. Lots of aha moments around energy healing, Kabbalah and quantum physics. It lasted about one month, not sure how many lectures anymore…
          • Working with the Spirit Doctors - online class at The College of Psychic Studies with Susan Gash. This is one of four classes that I took during the pandemic and I loved it. I took the short courses that last 6 weeks.
          • Remote Viewing and Mediumship workshop while on vacation in London in 2024 - I had a full circle moment with this one. It took me back to the beginning. I also signed up for a tarot workshop that weekend.
          • Six Month IFS Psychology Course: October 2025 to late March 2026. I am not a psychologist - taking this class doesn’t certify you as a psychologist but it covers the model. I am IFS INFORMED in terms of being able to incorporate some of the tools into energy healing sessions (there was some overlap). IFS helped ground my spiritual practice. I LOVED this class and the IFS approach, but also realized I don’t actually want to be a psychologist, in terms of my going back to school to pursue that as a new day job etc. I don’t want to do client sessions anymore - and may focus on teaching astrology & energy healing. Stay tuned!

I think that is everything. That and lots of books and self-study. It’s time to focus on teaching and writing. You'll find my books on Amazon. Chakra Healing & Magick has the basics - how to channel energy healing and connect with your intuition!

#FunnyFact about my natal chart 💜💜💜

I have Mercury in Pisces - the planet of the mind, in the Zodiac sign of intuition. The messenger god Hermes was associated with Mercury in ancient times. He rules my natal chart because of my Gemini Rising and three big planets in Virgo. Born on a Wednesday too 📝
