Rabbit Hole

In the fall of 2009, I discovered my first intuition book. I started reading it the exact month of my Saturn Return, at 25 degrees Virgo 😅 The Return is when your higher self sends synchronicities to help  you find your path. Saturn is the inner teacher. Virgo has systematic, analytical, nerd and perfection energy. I have intuition elsewhere in my chart.

Diary of a Psychic Healer documents this adventure. Here is a recap, with links to some of my favorite posts.

Saturn Return Kick Off (4 Core Areas)

  • Psychic development at The College of Psychic Studies in London. I signed up for weekly classes in May 2010 and stayed until January 2014. I have listed those below. At the time, I worked in consumer healthcare - two worlds collided (happily).
  • Energy Healing Course at the School of Intuition & Healing, UK. I still can't believe I completed this training. We had 18 full-day workshops over a two year period and about 85 client sessions to graduate. Sept 2010 - May 2012. None of those 18 workshops are listed below, (archived posts).
  • Usui Reiki: I wanted to volunteer at a cancer center nearby, but it only allowed Reiki. I signed up for class and was blown away! Reiki is easy to channel. We learned a ton: giving and teaching Reiki, automatic and distant healing, space clearing, clearing and working with crystals, reiki homeopathy, crystal grids and mindfulness meditation. The handouts were intense. Six days of class in 2012 and 2013 until I became a Reiki Master. Taught by Michael Kaufmann.

🐇 The Rabbit Hole

The workshops mentioned below lasted a full day or more. With the 10 or 12 week classes at CPS or SIH, we would meet for two hours each week to flex our intuition. Click on the blue links to read the blog posts!

  • Memoir & Creative Writing in February 2009. One of these stories is mentioned in my book, Chakra Healing & Magick. I won’t say more so as not to spoil the surprise 🫶🏻 on Amazon Here 🔮
  • Kabbalah 1 & 2 at the Kabbalah Centre in London (Summer & Fall 09)
  • Cord Cutting workshop with Sue Allen at CPS. December 2009
  • Psychic Abilities Workshop, two days in January 2010
  • Could I be a Healer - 4 weeks CPS (Feb 2010)
  • Angels & Ascended Masters Workshop at CPS. May 2010
  • Weekly Spirit Guides class with Michelle Hawcroft (May-Dec 2010)

This blog was born after a year of experiments. It was anonymous for 3 years: Diary of a Psychic Healer ⚡️
  • My 1st ever blog post 🙌🏻 Sept 2010
  • Spirit Guides & Psychic Development at CPS. Winter Term 2011
  • Weekly Angel Intuition with Amanda Roberts at CPS from May 2011 - March 2013. We connected primarily with the archangels and after a few terms, goddess energies. I skipped a term in 2012 when the energy healing accreditation was too much.
  • Self Love Manifesting Workshop at CPS  - I still have a gold heart memento from that class 🤍
  • Medical Intuition Workshop at the School of Intuition & Healing. 2011
  • Kabbalah Level 3 at the Kabbalah Centre UK - Fall  2012
  • Listening & Responding at a cancer center in May 2013. We went through what to say, how to say it and what not to say. This training was aimed at sitting with patients & families. How to talk, and when not to say anything.
  • Intro to Cancer Treatments & Complementary Therapies at a cancer hospital, 2013. What to expect, and basic guidelines for each complementary therapy.
    • Remote Viewing with Debby Kay Edwards at CPS. Two terms 2013.
    • Channeling: 8 Weeks at the School of Intuition Healing - Sept 2013.
    • Zohar Class at the Kabbalah Centre in London, most of 2013. It looks at the weekly astrology vibes and a mystical interpretation of the Torah 🫶🏻 Loved it.

In January 2014 I left London and moved to Mexico City where I've lived ever since. I hosted a radio show and spent a year and a half presenting spiritual topics on air.

I continued to take classes for fun and to meet people.
    • Lucid Dreaming Workshop in 2014 where I failed spectacularly. Two days of trying to fall asleep and not fall asleep 🕯️
    • Two-days on channeling and psychic abilities with the friends who set up the spiritual circle mentioned below. This was in 2014.
      • Awakening the Illuminated Heart Workshop in Mexico City - four days of meditation and manifesting in March of 2015. I am not into a lot of the New Age concepts in this class, but the manifesting meditation is great and I took it again in 2019.
      • Flower essences. In all honesty, I booked a session and it turned into a one-on-one class. Since then I have done the same with reiki, if the person needs an attunement more than a session. I have been choosing my own flower essences since 2010, when I was very stressed out at work and needed calm 💛

In the summer of 2015, I went back to London for a term to complete the last level of angels, and I took the chance to finally sign up for proper astrology classes, after years of self-study.
I didnt blog about it much but 2015 was my year of magickal training. Self study and lots of great books.

      Life Expands in Mexico 🇲🇽❤️

This was when I left the radio show and focused on teaching locally. I found a lovely center where I taught energy healing, tarot, angels, astrology and Reiki. I also taught mainstream meditation at a hospital, but ended up going holistic.  💫

I kept researching and taking classes:
      • Failed attempt at A Course in Miracles: November 2015 to early 2016. This class is just not for me. I quit it quickly.  I like looking at individual day concepts, but not being given one day at a time. It made me feel like I was being programmed.
      • Predictive Astrology online class with a fellow astrologer and blogosphere friend, Nic (2016). The following year I became a guest blogger her website, focusing on energy healing and magick.
      • 🌟 Published my second book: Chakra Healing & Magick in May 2016, building on five-six years of energy healing and my year of magickal experiments. Like I mention in the book, energy healing and magick are not that different. Energy healing doesn't need tools, but we can incorporate them easily: tarot, crystals, oils etc.
      • Spring 2016-2018: A weekly circle with a group of healers and psychics. We took turns presenting different topics: astrology, crystals, tarot, meditation, Kabbalah. I workshopped my astrology classes here. The highlight may have been 6 months on the 13 Clan Mothers and the Moon, taught by a friend, based on Jamie Sams book of Spiritual Psychology. Amazing.
      • Practical Kabbalah with a fantastic teacher in Mexico City. My first class with Dalia Siman was in October 2016 and I took her class for about 2.5 years. Human behavior and spirituality. I have been studying kabbalah in different ways since 2009, starting with Gershom Sholem's symbolism book. I didn't fully understand that book until much much later.
      •  Spiritual Psychology 2017: One of my college friends is a spiritual psychologist - she set up a 12 week class where we learned to work through our own baggage. We also looked at manifesting. The class was geared towards inner work.
the pyramids outside mexico city - teotihuacán
      • Planets & Numerology - Feb 2017. Six weeks on numerology,  - it was a theoretical class that looked at lots of topics. Mainly, how to integrate planetary energies - I went back for the next round of classes✨
      • Theta Healing Basic DNA: three-day workshop on energy healing that I absolutely loved. It's very similar to my energy healing school so I didn't continue with their classes, but I read a lot of their books and they are really fantastic. August 2017.
      • Time Travelers Guide to the Universe + Intro to Quantum Physics with Denise Linn and her brother (a university physics professor). Each one stayed in their lane. I had a lot of fun with this class. Lots of aha moments around energy healing, Kabbalah and quantum physics (hydrogen). It lasted about one month, not sure how many lectures anymore…
      • Working with the Spirit Doctors - online class at The College of Psychic Studies with Susan Gash. This is one of four classes that I took during the pandemic and I loved it. I took the short courses that last 6 weeks. Sept-Nov 2021.
      • The College of Psychic Studies went online during the pandemic and I signed up for a few angel intuition classes out of nostalgia, with Liesl Duffy. More magick 💙
From 2022 to 2025 I focused on teaching astrology + giving more in-depth astrology sessions. I also started working with the Draconic Chart, which relates to your Higher Self. Love it!
      • Internal Family Systems Psychology Circle - October 2025 to March 2026. This helped ground my spiritual practice. It provides a map of our 'inner parts,' which helps explain why we sometimes feel conflicted or blocked. This class explains the Internal Family Systems framework - how parts of you get along; it does not certify you as a psychologist, or as an IFS practitioner. Technically, I am IFS Informed. It was a good class.
      • Possibly last last last class ever - I signed up for the new IFS Spirituality 10 week course, this July 2026. I am curious to hear Dr Schwartz' take on the spiritual realm, spiritual traditions and how they relate to parts work. Here is a previous post on parts. 👉🏻 Also, me geeking out - I refer to a Higher Self in my books. IFS talks of a core Self. I am curious to see how they relate to each other, from a spiritual pov.

Might be done studying now! I think it’s time to focus on teaching what I already know about energy healing and astrology. You'll find my books on Amazon. Chakra Healing & Magick has the basics - how to channel energy healing, awaken your intuition and find your magick.

Funny Fact: I have Mercury in Pisces - the planet of the mind, in the Zodiac sign of intuition. Hermes rules my chart because of my Gemini Rising and three big planets in Virgo. Born on a Wednesday too 📝

      Reiki hugs,

      Regina

My 1st Psychic Development Class - 10 Years Ago!

In January of 2010, I signed up for my first clairvoyance workshop. Feeling curious but skeptical - would I be able to do any of the activities in the class description???    That skepticism disappeared by lunchtime when we finished the first exercise. The teacher put us in pairs and guided us through a meditation where we each visited the place where the other student lived.   We began by activating our Aura, and through it, our intuition .  The teacher then asked a series of questions: do they live in a city, what do you see in the street, how far from the neighbors, what color is the building, do you walk right through the front door into their home or is it a journey? The questions continued - how many bedrooms, how are they decorated, what is in the fridge, what is the view like? How many people live there? Do they have pets? What type of music do they listen to, etc.  When we came out of the meditation, the teacher told us to describe what...

Does sharing have to be selfless or painful?

One of the things that I have had to let go of is the idea that if we help someone, it has to be 100% altruistic - in order for the action to be good. I don’t know if this is an idea that I adopted in childhood seeing others hold up selflessness as good - “give till it hurts” etc. The world would be a much better place if we knew that it is always in our benefit to help others. We always get something in return, directly or indirectly 💛 🫶🏻 Research shows that kindness makes for a much healthier society. I read a book last year called Shadow, Self & Spirit on transpersonal (or collective) psychology. There was a chapter on the psychology of evil and violence. People are less likely to harm others if they experience some form of compassion in their lives, or if they believe that someone cares about them - even if it’s a public figure, a politician, a celeb, or a deity like Quan Yin. Or better yet, family members, friends, and strangers. Random acts...

      Is Manifesting for Real?

A while ago I wrote a post asking if spirit guides are real - pointing out that we have to challenge our beliefs, and also how we interpret what happens to us. Let's not get stuck in an idea or a worldview.  So today I'm going to take this approach to manifesting - is it for real? I don't think manifesting is for real, nor should it be the main focus in our lives. And honestly, I say this despite evidence to the contrary in my own life, i.e. things that I've manifested.   My issue with manifesting is that it's focused on ourselves, and what we can get in the material world. Personally, I've had good results applying conventional methods to get ahead - with help from my angels and guides. But still, it took drive and ambition to find a good corporate job in London, years ago. That and focusing on my personal competencies, and on the soft skills that were needed. Putting myself out there, networking, knocking on doors. Real world activities. And luck, that is a...
