Soul Healing, Astrology and the Higher Heart Chakra

Did you know that as well as the seven main chakras, we have energy centers in the Aura? These are seen as transpersonal because they take our awareness beyond our individual lives. This awareness can include past lives, the planet and most importantly, the collective experience.

Some of the Transpersonal Chakras are especially relevant when it comes to energy healing & astrology. Tuning into them will open up your natal chart’s gifts & lessons.

I’ve listed these chakras bottom-up because they need to be approached that way or we’ll lose our footing, energetically:

➡️ The Earth Star Chakra is beneath your feet in the ground, connecting you with nature and with the planet’s history. What has happened on Earth, in previous generations, that you still need to heal?

➡️ The Universal Heart Chakra (or Higher Heart) can be found above the classical Heart Chakra, near the Thymus gland. It connects you with your Higher Self, bringing in bigger currents of love from that aspect of your full self. Grounding from the Higher Heart gives you extra strength when channeling planetary energies.

➡️ The Soular (Soul Star) Chakra is about six inches above the head. I tend to see and feel it as a Moon. It has to do with past lives and with your soul’s path. This is also where the energy of your birth chart is stored, which then cascades into the spiritual layer of the Aura. Astrology transits are felt because of the Soular

The energy in the spiritual Aura layer filters through the inner layers of the Aura, as discussed in my book, Chakra Healing & Magick. Healing the emotional and mental Aura layers also makes it easier to perceive spiritual energy around us. This is an essential part of self-healing. The Aura and the seven main chakras are covered in the book. I’ll start to include the transpersonal chakras in my meditations on YouTube.

Energy Healing Meditations

There are lots of ways to work with the astrology chart when we think about energy healing. Activating the Earth Star Chakra releases excess energy into the ground. It also attunes us to plants & crystals, which can be used to harmonize the Aura and our lives. Chapter 1 of Chakra Healing & Magick looks at this.

Please begin with this Earth Star Activation on Youtube. Don't forget to check out the Astrology Tab in the Menu Bar for an introduction to healing & the stars! I have been sharing the basics of astrology on Instagram, this was today's post!

Reach out for energy healing sessions that focus on your natal chart.

Reiki hugs,

Regina

ps ... Read my books for an intro to energy healing and intuition. Please note, they lay the foundations but my books do NOT include the transpersonal chakras 🤍

Ask the Angels: What is a Soul (Pre-Birth) Contract? ✨✨✨

I recently discovered a book called The Angel Bible, by Hazel Raven. It is lovely and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an in-depth look at angels. It includes a meditation with Archangel Uriel, the GPS angel that helps us find our path and life purpose. The meditation guides us into our Soular (Soul Star) Chakra where we unravel a scroll that tells us what our soul contract is - essentially, agreements made before coming to Earth.

In the meditation, I closed my eyes and pictured myself unraveling the scroll, much like a fortune cookie, only to find myself torching it instead. The message was that we are free to do and be whatever we like (harming none) and to let go of the the belief that I couldn’t choose my future 👩🏻‍🎨

The next feeling was a gentle reminder that all belief systems are an attempt at explaining what we think is going on around us. It’s OK to take these theories and beliefs as tentative roadmaps, but not to take them as absolutes. Sharing this experience in case it resonates.

Below you will find a guided meditation with Archangel Raphael. He activates our intuition through the chakras so that we can receive clear guidance, and also clears stagnant blocks of energy from the Aura. For example, beliefs that limit your options. He is one of the angels that I connect with most often in my work as a healer.

Hazel Raven’s The Angel Bible can be found in bookstores, and if you would like intuition tips, this post covers four things I wish I'd known (with certainty) when I signed up for intuition class in 2010.

Reiki hugs,

Regina

Showing Our True Colors

So today, I’m going to tell you a little story about myself. It's about how I have taken baby steps– and I do mean baby steps – to get where I am now. Six years ago, I had just moved to London for work. Being new to the UK, I also wanted to meet people so I started signing up for a bunch of classes: starting with astrology, Kabbalah and meditation. Eventually these led me to my psychic school, where I signed up for a clairvoyance workshop. The thought of clairvoyant or clairaudient messages was exciting, but I kept it a secret so that people wouldn’t think I had gone completely mad. At that point, I myself had trouble believing it was real.

The first class I attended was a clairvoyant workshop where we tuned into our classmates' homes and described them to each other. The teacher guided us through a meditation, asking questions like: Is it a building? A house? How many rooms? How many people? Do they have pets, etc.? Our intuition filled in the blanks. I was new so I didn't expect to get much. The person I was working with, however, described my apartment down to a T. He saw a massive building, the one I lived in had almost 1000 flats. He also mentioned walking through an endless corridor before getting to my “front door” He also described the decoration inside the flat. I was blown away; it proved these abilities were real. I just had to put in the time to develop them myself.

I signed up for weekly classes right away, and eight months later, I started an anonymous blog to keep track of everything that happened in class. That blog was Diary of a Psychic Healer.  For the longest time, the blog was my little secret. I shared it with a few close friends, then with my siblings and after two years, I finally mentioned it to the rest of my family. By then I had had enough experience with intuition and healing to trust that these impressions were real. But I was still nervous about putting my name on my blog. On some level, I knew that if I wanted to remain in the corporate world, this part of my life had to stay off the Internet. Everything is on Google these days and I didn't want a potential employer ruling me out. It wasn’t until I finally worked up the courage to quit my job and pursue healing as a career, that I put my name on my Diary of a Psychic Healer Blog and Facebook Page, which by then had hundreds of thousands of views. Even then, if you Googled me, you wouldn’t find the blog so easily.

A few weeks ago I was thinking back to my final days in the corporate world. My then boss told me the story of Christopher Columbus settling down in the New World. Going home may have been tempting for his team, but Columbus was determined to make it work. So much that he burned the ships to keep himself from going back (not sure if this is true). The moral of the story was that my career change would have better chances of success if I burned my bridges.

That was nearly two years ago.

This weekend I finally took the training wheels off my blog. For a while now, I have known that I had to upgrade my blog to make it more user-friendly, but also, make myself easier to find. A few days ago I started fiddling about with the landing page, template and design. Before I knew what happened, my familiar and somewhat anonymous template had disappeared. I also updated the URL on the About Regina tab (up top) so that it includes my full name - a small detail that means my blog will soon turn up in Google searches for my name.

How To Heal Your Karma

Someone asked a wonderful question on my Facebook Page, and rather than losing the answer in a sea of quotes, I thought I'd write about it on my blog. The question, complete with smiley faces is the following:
How could I be able to pay karmic debt if I had never read the passbook ? :)
If I translate the question to Regina-Speak, I would ask, how can I identify the lessons I need to learn to cancel karmic debts? The idea is that over time, or even over the span of many lifetimes we accumulate a debt of karmas to repay. These often manifest as difficulties in our life. If I understand correctly, Prono's question was how will we know what we need to do if we haven't seen the passbook that lists all of these karmas?

My philosophy professors would be proud, now that I have spent a paragraph setting up the question we can get to the answers!

The debts in our passbook are written into our lives, they appear in the form of challenges and difficult situations that we keep running into. We do not need to identify them as karmas to beat them, but it helps to think about it from this point of view because looking at things symbolically allows you to remove your emotions from the equation.

A classic example is a person who needs to learn to stand up for themselves and defend each individuals right to live a life free from harassment. Standing up to a bully might be really difficult for them, and if you look at their childhood experiences they might have run into a lot of bullies on the playground. Whenever a bully approaches he might go quiet, retreat or even just take it in fear. Having a bigger kid taunt you is a lot of suffering for a kid, but he is running into that bully because he needs to learn a lesson. This has more to do with managing his own reactions and learning to react differently: stand up to the bully and stop taking his abuse, even if you're scared to. In a symbolic world, he will keep running into bullies until he learns to stand his ground. When he finally starts to push back he will begin to gain confidence and each time the bully will become less of a problem. Eventually, bullies won't push him around because of his reputation and the bully karma will disappear (or the fear will disappear).

This is an over simplified story, but the principles apply in real life to adult challenges (even bullies in the workplace, or in the family). I am not going to go into the details of the past life behaviours that might have caused this karma to occur, i.e. was he a victim or an aggressor in a past life? This message is about how we get over our karmas, not why they are there. :-)

How To Identify Your Challenges:

Observe Yourself: Realize that your reactions and your behavioural responses are the problem, not the other person or the situation. The 1st step is to take responsibility for your situation and to stop blaming the other person. For example, you might have a problem with anger management, rather than blame the person or the situation that makes you angry you need to accept that they will not fade. Look into yourself, and ask what makes you different, so that you get mad when others do not. You are the only person faced with the problem of learning how to express angry emotions. This applies for the person who bottles it up inside, as much as for the person who explodes.

Is there a pattern? Pay attention to recurring themes in your life, what are the challenges that you keep running into? I know a man who is very good at his job, but he has still been fired at least 3 times from positions that he did well. Rather than blame each of his bosses for being unfair or even breaking the law, he looked at what he was doing to cause it - and it all came down to ego and his relationships with co-workers.

Ask for Guidance.  We can all identify patterns on our own, but sometimes we also have blind spots. So what can we do to identify the behaviours we can't see ourselves? Ask!!! Think of 2 people that know you very well and ask them to tell you one thing that you do to make your life harder. The best person to ask is usually the one who has probably been dying to tell you, but hasn't because of conventions (or because you won't let them). I asked my mother.

Guiding Stars: We can also look at our birth chart for guidance. Most people focus on the Sun sign but there is a lot more to astrology. My favourite so far has been the North Node, a karmic placement. There is an amazing book by Jan Spiller called Astrology for the Soul and I can't recommend it highly enough. The idea is that our South Nodes incorporates many past lives in which we have reinforced one aspect our spiritual dna and neglected another. Part of our karma involves us exploring the zodiac sign that was neglected.

In my case, the effect was multiplied because my south node, Midheaven and Sun are all in Aquarius. This book described me better than anything I have ever seen, the effects will not be as strong for everyone but it is still a good cheat sheet.

Pace Yourself: Try to focus on one improvement area at a time, otherwise you will drive yourself mad. We will have plenty of changes to balance our karma, so enjoy your life and do your best not to add anything to this karmic passbook.

The first suggestions are based on techniques learned at the Kabbalah Centre in London. Go deeper by visiting their online university or signing up for class. I especially enjoyed Marcus Weston's lectures there.
