Soul-Healing with Archangel Raziel

Archangel Raziel is one of the angels that I connect with most often. He resonates with the planet Uranus - insight, illumination and cosmic connection - and as an Aquarius, I love that vibe. Like most of the archangels, his  name comes from Hebrew. We can get a sense of what angels represent from the letters in their name: Resh (R), Zayin (Z) and Yud (i) with  El  referencing the role that angels play as messengers of Light.  Hebrew letters have a number, a meaning, and an energy signature. They are also said to be conduits of energy and according to the Sefer Yetzirah , visualizing the letters as black fire against brilliant white light activates them in the physical world*. The Hebrew letter  Resh brings Peace*, Zayin is a blade that cuts through illusions of fear or confusion, and the Yud represents the spark of divine light that resides in all of us.    Archangel Raziel guides us in soul-healing and symbolism, especially where past lives, ...

The Jesus Mysteries by Tim Freke (Book Review)

SPOILER ALERT: Don't read this if you are Christian or Catholic, as it challenges Church teachings. Read it if you are interested in Ancient Egypt.  Three years ago I watched a documentary on the first few centuries of Christianity. Among other things, it looked at a subset of pagan religions that were popular 2000 years ago and how Christianity absorbed them. There were several scholars discussing passages in the New Testament and how quite a few events in the account of Jesus' life may have been taken directly from these pagan 'mystery' religions.   I put off writing about this because it was almost traumatic. One of these events was Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday. Another was the actual date of December 25th, when a pagan god known as Mithras was said to have been born. This particular claim is contentious - like many things, it's debated. Historians place the likely birth of baby Jesus in the spring, as there is evidenc...

The Second Coming of Christ: Literal or Mystical?

Most of my posts are based on my experiences and personal musings. This one is no different, just a snapshot of where I am right now. I'm not expert on the Second Coming of Christ but as with any subject, I asked my intuition to point out a theory that I can wrap my head around.  The theme popped into my mind a recently when I stumbled across a book called  The Yoga of Jesus , by Paramahamsa Yogananda (does the name sound familiar? Yogananda also wrote Autobiography of a Yogi). The Yoga of Jesus is now on my reading list, and somehow the cover got me thinking about the second coming of Christ.  Do we take that literally, is he coming back in physical form? It dawned on me that there may be another option. What if it's not a physical incarnation but rather, a metaphysical or mystical one? I'm starting to think that the Second Coming of Christ is going to happen in our hearts and minds, not in the world around us. It's when we start to assimilate th...
