Cancer Support ✨

This page has several resources, including meditations and my book on energy healing and cancer.

I wrote this book, trying to make sense of my family's experience with cancer; my focus is on holistic practices that can help families cope with a diagnosis. It is intuitive, grounded, and a concise read.

  • The first half looks at risk factors that we can influence, including weight, lifestyle, smoking and high stress - with varying levels of evidence behind them. We also look at life meaning and patients' emotional well-being leading up to a diagnosis. The focus is on emotional support and awareness.
  • The second half gives others a chance to apply energy healing tools that I personally use.

1) A Look at Energy Healing

A Personal Guide to Self-Healing, Cancer & Love provides a fresh perspective on the challenges faced when we or someone we love is diagnosed with cancer. We often start by asking why it happened and what it means. The impact is far reaching.

This book includes simple tools that can be used daily for self care and relaxation, introducing energy healing and meditation as holistic practices that the family can enjoy. Energy healing is NOT a treatment for cancer. It is a spiritual practice that we can turn to in any situation.

The techniques in this book are complementary to medical care, not alternative. Self-healing refers to spiritual, emotional, and energetic practices to support the family’s well-being; it is not a cancer treatment.

You can find the book in your region below:

Note: This book and its content are for educational and spiritual support purposes only. Energy healing and meditation are not medical treatments and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including cancer. Always consult your licensed medical team regarding diagnosis and treatment decisions.

2) Music & Guided Meditations

Meditation is a simple tool that anyone can practice - it’s not about emptying the mind. We can listen to music, guided visualizations or sit for a few minutes and listen to our breath. I've included guided meditations below and a selection of songs that we can use as background music for journaling or meditation 🤍

In 2018, I taught meditation and creative visualization at a conference, you’ll find highlights here.

Does sharing have to be selfless or painful?

One of the things that I have had to let go of is the idea that if we help someone, it has to be 100% altruistic - in order for the action to be good. I don’t know if this is an idea that I adopted in childhood seeing others hold up selflessness as good - “give till it hurts” etc. The world would be a much better place if we knew that it is always in our benefit to help others. We always get something in return, directly or indirectly 💛 🫶🏻 Research shows that kindness makes for a much healthier society. I read a book last year called Shadow, Self & Spirit on transpersonal (or collective) psychology. There was a chapter on the psychology of evil and violence. People are less likely to harm others if they experience some form of compassion in their lives, or if they believe that someone cares about them - even if it’s a public figure, a politician, a celeb, or a deity like Quan Yin. Or better yet, family members, friends, and strangers. Random acts...

My 1st Psychic Development Class - 10 Years Ago!

In January of 2010, I signed up for my first clairvoyance workshop. Feeling curious but skeptical - would I be able to do any of the activities in the class description???    That skepticism disappeared by lunchtime when we finished the first exercise. The teacher put us in pairs and guided us through a meditation where we each visited the place where the other student lived.   We began by activating our Aura, and through it, our intuition .  The teacher then asked a series of questions: do they live in a city, what do you see in the street, how far from the neighbors, what color is the building, do you walk right through the front door into their home or is it a journey? The questions continued - how many bedrooms, how are they decorated, what is in the fridge, what is the view like? How many people live there? Do they have pets? What type of music do they listen to, etc.  When we came out of the meditation, the teacher told us to describe what...

Is Manifesting for Real?

A while ago I wrote a post asking if spirit guides are real - pointing out that we have to challenge our beliefs, and also how we interpret what happens to us. Let's not get stuck in an idea or a worldview.  So today I'm going to take this approach to manifesting - is it for real? I don't think manifesting is for real, nor should it be the main focus in our lives. And honestly, I say this despite evidence to the contrary in my own life, i.e. things that I've manifested.   My issue with manifesting is that it's focused on ourselves, and what we can get in the material world. Personally, I've had good results applying conventional methods to get ahead - with help from my angels and guides. But still, it took drive and ambition to find a good corporate job in London, years ago. That and focusing on my personal competencies, and on the soft skills that were needed. Putting myself out there, networking, knocking on doors. Real world activities. And luck, that is a...
