I love astrology, and work with it for the metaphorical and self-actualization side that comes from integrating the Zodiac signs.  But I’ve had  planetary transits that boggle my mind, essentially when a planet’s current movements connect with a point in your natal chart. I have a hypothesis that I would like to test. I might try to organize a study that tests specific theories about natal astrology  💫 Right now, I want to see what makes transits affect us more or less predictably, if at all, and that is what I would like to test.   👉🏻 From a metaphorical, user-interface point of view , I see a ton of value in working with astrology but also think it's OK if it's mystical/myth based. I don't have a mode of action for astrology, but hope to test it anyway. In the meantime I'm going back to some of my math, stats and science friends for advice. Two years ago, I wrote a post about how Uranus brings unexpected changes in my life . Uranus is the planet of change, disruption and liberation. Uranus transits to my natal Moon have brought relocations. At the time, I was applying for European citizenship but I didn't want to jinx it.  Well, it's finally come through! I don't know how this will translate into big changes, other than I hope to travel more.   When I applied, Uranus was exactly 120 degrees away from my Natal Moon at 19 degrees of Capricorn, and 120 degrees from the part of my natal chart that relates to my home - and what counts as home. A while ago I wrote a post asking if spirit guides are real - pointing out that we have to challenge our beliefs, and also how we interpret what happens to us. Let's not get stuck in an idea or a worldview.  So today I'm going to take this approach to manifesting - is it for real? I don't think manifesting is for real, nor should it be the main focus in our lives. And honestly, I say this despite evidence to the contrary in my own life, i.e. things that I've manifested.   My issue with manifesting is that it's focused on ourselves, and what we can get in the material world. Personally, I've had good results applying conventional methods to get ahead - with help from my angels and guides. I’ve  been going over key dates in my life and checking them against transits. A transit is when a planet moves through the zodiac and makes a connection with any of the placements in your natal chart, at an angle (say 60 or 90 degrees away), or crossing it directly. The direct transit is called a conjunction. It has a strong effect but whether it's easy or hard, to be confirmed. Uranus is the planet of change, disruption and it also happens to rule Aquarius, my Sun Sign. It has a slow orbit though, taking 84 years to go around the zodiac.
