Miracle Making with Hebrew Letters

So I was going to tell you about this Theta Healing class that I signed up for recently. It helps your intuition flow a lot quicker. But after the class I had a big aha moment, so I want to share that before I forget it.

Yesterday I was thinking about a project where I would like an influx of prosperity. I asked for guidance and the message that came through was that it is OK to ask for "more of the same" because the idea is to multiply bread, and not divide it.

That very specific wording reminded me of a Bible story where Jesus multiplied bread and fish to feed a large crowd on a hill. This is where the rabbit hole of my puzzle-piece epiphany began ...

Puzzle #1: Multiplying with Magic Numbers

Ages ago, one of my psychic school teachers told us not to bother taking notes in class because we had our guardian angel with us. A teacher might say something that we didn't know how to process, but your angel takes note, and years later when that piece of information becomes relevant and useful, voila! It comes to mind.

This happened yesterday, as I recalled my intuition tutor Amanda telling us that the specific number of fish, bread, and crowds in those Bible stories were important from a miracle making perspective.

So I went looking for a copy of the Bible and read the stories. In one, it tells you that there were 7 loaves and an unspecified number of fish. The loaves and fish were multiplied to feed 5000 people, and at the end of the day, there were again 7 full baskets full of food that had not been consumed that day. #7.

In another account, it speaks of 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread (which add up to 7), being multiple to feed 4000 people in the crowd. Again with a big surplus....

Puzzle #2: Was Jesus a Kabbalist?

My mind went back to a random Kabbalah class, and how at one point, I scoffed when a teacher implied that Jesus was a Kabbalist, and that was how he performed some of his miracles.

At the time, I cynically thought that teacher was trying to take credit for Jesus's miracles, but now I think that they may have been right. Or at the very least, the person who recorded the New Testament was familiar with the Torah, with Hebrew letters and (if he was a Kabbalist) with the 72 of Names of God, which we will come onto next. But first, what is Kabbalah???

Over the years there have been different schools of thought. To put it simply, Kabbalah can be described as the mystical side of Judaism, where one reads between the lines to understand the Torah, including parables and even spelling and grammar (the exact way in which Hebrew letters and grammar appear in the Torah has significance). The word itself means to "Receive" and when we study Kabbalah, we receive lots and lots of information and insights.

The idea is that every story in the Old Testament has layers to it: first a literal description of events, then metaphors or symbolism that can be extrapolated from that description, then the interpretation of those metaphors and under all of that, the mystical meaning that can be hard to put into words. Yesterday I extended this take on the Torah to include the New Testament and some of its passages.

A book called the Zohar explains the Torah or Old Testament's symbolism. For example, the Jewish people being led out of Egypt and to Israel, is seen to be about the Human Spirit breaking free from the Ego and finding its way to the Light, to God, or to its own unfettered Soul....

Puzzle #3: Numerology in Hebrew Letters

I really like studying Kabbalah, but with my Neptunian vibes, I wanted to go down a mystical and less academic route. Rather than read about the Tree of Life, I wanted to astral travel there, and yes it is possible! So I began exploring and found several currents of Kabbalah study that went down a experiential or mystical approach.

Along the way, I signed up for a Practical Kabbalah class where we began to link planets and numbers with the Tree of Life. We also looked at the mystical meaning of Hebrew letters and how they have a unique vibratory pattern. Legend says that God created the Universe with specific combinations of Hebrew letters, and that Moses parted the Red Sea by activating certain Hebrew letters in sequence.

Call it spiritual technology or magic, but we can work with Hebrew letters to create changes in our lives and our communities. I was not sure how, though...

Puzzle #4: The Secret Code!

Each of the letters in the Hebrew alphabet has a numerical value. I dug out a copy of the Bible and looked up the numbers in the parables. Then I reached for a meditation deck called The 72 Names of God, with 72 combinations of letters. Each card has a theme, relating to an aspect of spiritual connection. Without even shuffling the deck, it opened to one specific card: Diamonds in the Rough. This is about how to take ordinary rocks (or problems) and turn them into diamonds, or light.

There were three Hebrew letters on the card, and I was shocked to discover that the numerical value of those letters mirrors the number of fish, bread, and baskets  in the parables, which were then multiplied into the thousands. Resh is 200 which reduces to 2, Hey is 5, and Ayin is 70, which again reduces to 7. I guess this means that if we want to create manna from rocks, this combination of letters is the key.

In both instances, Jesus thanked God for the abundance of food, before it appeared, indicating that he wasn’t doing it all himself. And that he knew it was coming. Coincidentally, this is what we were taught to do in the Theta Healing class that I mentioned earlier - whether it’s God, or another figure, depending on your religion.

72 Names Of God deck, Yehuda Berg

This isn't a "get rich quick" story or card, but it could be about multiplying resources to help a larger group of people, or about transcending the laws of nature to feed the spiritually and materially hungry. I would love to hear your thoughts on this, or on how to work with the letters in meditation, music, etc. 👉🏻 Four and five adding up to nine is also significant, but that is another story. Seven is the key number - you have to really want it and find happiness in it happening. This from the Tree of Life* 💞

Reiki hugs,

Neptune On My Blog

Before I started this Diary of a Psychic Healer blog, I had one called Walking With Your Guides that didn't last long. At the time I was reading a book on spirit guides and the name made sense. I was also enrolled in one of my first ever classes on spirit guides. After a few months I deleted that blog because I didn't like the name, and because I wanted to talk about energy healing, intuition, astrology and angels.

I can't remember how I came up with the Diary of a Psychic Healer, but I liked the sound of it and the fact that it includes Energy Healing and Intuition - even though, I don't heal through psychic means. Energy Healing involves channeling energy from the universe and from the Earth, through the body and Chakras, to different aspects of our lives. Still, the the name was catchy and as I discovered yesterday, if I add up the letters, the numerology adds up to the number 7, which represents Neptune.

Neptune is the planet of intuition, healing, mysticism, astral travel, and more. It rules the sign of Pisces. My astrology teacher used to tell us that the whole building had a Neptunian vibes because of the classes that were taught there. The funny thing is that I'm into all of these themes, as you can tell, but when I signed up for Kabbalistic Astrology class last Fall, Neptune was notoriously absent from the list of planets that are meant to be active in my life. It wasn't until we got to the numerology of names that it finally appeared - in part of my given name, and in the name that I dreamt up for this intuition and healing blog.

I didn't do the exercise for Walking With Your Guides, but it could not have been better than Neptune. My guess is it might've been earthly, possibly Saturn or Mercury, which isn't bad, but I have enough Earth in my astrology chart. The other fun thing that I learned, is that together, my first and last name carry the energy of the Sun which was the other planet that had been "absent" from my Kabbalistic Astrology reading. Isn't it funny how our parents happen to choose the right name for us? I don't think it happens by chance either, it's a vibrational match.

Planets & Numerology with Dalia Siman

Last year I signed up for an amazing numerology and planets class. It was taught by Dalia Siman, a healer, numerologist, naam yogi, kabbalist and all-round fabulous teacher based in Mexico (dalsiman@gmail.com) Her class lasted seven weeks and it took me almost that long to wrap my head around the various topics and how they all come together.

The Seven Traditional Planets:

I'm an astrology geek so this is what drew me to the class in the first place. Dalia talked us through the numerology of our birth date and how the day, month and year can pinpoint the planets that are most influential in our personalities and lives.

For example, I was born on a Wednesday, the day that is assigned to Mercury (the planet of communication, learning styles and other fun intellectual and self-expression pursuits). Mercury is the energy that radiates from my Heart, which is lovely, because Archangel Michael is also associated with Mercury on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and I've always felt like he is my angel - the angel of courage, because in all honesty, I often take convincing... =)

The planet that rules my spirit is Venus, based on the year I was born, and a number of other planets are key players. The funny thing for me was that I have also studied my birth chart thoroughly, and the planets that came up using Dalia's numerology coincide with the planets that rule my Ascendant, Sun and Moon if I look at my natal chart (as well as planets that aspect my natal Sun).

Using two completely different methodologies gave the same result. I also noticed that I have the same gaps - notably Jupiter who seems to be missing from my life (although its absence is also its presence, as I have been reading up on philosophy and spirituality for almost seventeen years - sigh).

Practical Tools To Find Balance

For each of the planets that rule our life, Dalia told us how to identify whether we were leaning towards a healthy expression of its energy, or a stagnant expression. So for example, Mercury is a quick moving planet and when a person has lots of Mercury in their numerology, an unbalanced expression could be the inability to sit still. They might run from one place to the next, and eventually they run low on their supply of energy. If we look at Traditional Chinese Medicine, this over-activity can have a negative impact on our kidneys, which are said to regulate our personal bank of energy. I know of one Wednesday child who had kidney stones, and she fits the description above - is that a coincidence?

For each of the planets, Dalia gave us yoga poses, mantras and physical exercises to balance the expression in our lives. I like this approach, and it fits well with some of the behavioural psychology that we find in Jan Spiller's astrology books (my fave when it comes to the planets & the zodiac).

I mention this because Dalia also gives readings, and her approach is unique. Up until now I had come across angel, tarot and intuitive readings that often give similar points of view. Dalia's style is methodical and fact based and that makes it easier for us to put it to work in our lives. Drop her an email: dalsiman@gmail.com - highly recommended!

Your Personal Pentagram

One of the things that we learned was how we each have a planetary pentagram with points representing our spirit, our daily approach to life, your karma, destiny and our gifts. (I should also mention that Dalia is a student of the kabbalist Dr Joseph Michael Levry, who can be found at www.rootlight.com)

I won't go into the details so as not to overwhelm, but as I'm at a crossroads, I wanted to use tarot to ask what I can do to activate each of these energies. Today I used the pentagram as a layout for my personal reading and got these cards:

The Wizards Tarot by Corrine Kenner

Note: I chose Corrine Kenner's deck for this reading because the cards include references to Kabbalah. If you read her Astrology & Tarot book, you will find the Tree of Life - a wonderful resource!

Top Card - Ace of Pentacles

This represents Venus in my pentagram, and the card that came up was the Ace of Pentacles. A new beginning that will bring security and lots of growth. It makes total sense as I am job/life hunting right now ;)

Top Left - The Seven of Wands:

This placement represents the energy that we bring to our daily life. The Seven of Wands is about making an effort to push through and get what you want (it corresponds to Mars in Leo, which is all about using competition to shine). This is actually the card that represents the opposite of my Sun Sign, the traits that we don't draw on quite that often...

Bottom Left - The Alchemist:

This is what Karma teaches, and this card is about patience and not rushing it. The zodiac sign on the card, Sagittarius, is  also about long distance travel so it could mean working abroad or with foreigners here in Mexico. Either option would be fun for me =)

Bottom Right - Page of Fire

This is where we are headed; the card resonates with the planet Mars, for action and for taking steps forward. I see this as getting back into a bit of a pressure cooker and coming out alright with more ideas, leadership and a bit of character.

Top Right - The Sun

This is the gift from the Universe to help us out -. Here I pulled the Sun which is just wonderful. So right now I don't know exactly where I am going to end up (work or country wise) but wherever I go, it will be sunny and warm figuratively speaking. And it might be here in Mexico (hopefully).

Middle Card - The Moon:

The center card which speaks to the Heart in the pentagram I chose deliberately because today the Moon is in Cancer, and the card represents the Moon. The question was: what is going on and how will I arrive at my "heart's desires" and this series of cards was the reply. I quite like the result!

Of course, in class Dalia taught us how to use numerology to ascertain the planet that corresponds to each of these placements in our personal pentagram. We then use the numbers and mantras to activate the energy. It's pretty cool - see for yourself!

Reiki hugs,

Regina
