(Not) Unexpected News!
Two years ago, I wrote a post about how Uranus brings unexpected changes in my life. Uranus is the planet of change, disruption and liberation. Uranus transits to my natal Moon have brought relocations. At the time, I was applying for European citizenship but I didn't want to jinx it.
Well, it's finally come through! I don't know how this will translate into big changes, other than I hope to travel more.
When I applied, Uranus was exactly 120 degrees away from my Natal Moon at 19 degrees of Capricorn, and 120 degrees from the part of my natal chart that relates to my home - and what counts as home. My 4th House, or 4th pizza slice, as described on the Astrology 101 page.
Uranus is currently traveling through my 12th House in my natal chart - it relates to past lives, family baggage (or gifts!). That is part of what has become activated. The 120 degree planetary aspect - the trine - is about things falling into place with ease. The new citizenship came through the family line, thanks to changes in ancestry laws. My natal Moon is in the 8th House of my natal chart, which relates to family legacies, among other things.
I was notified yesterday!
Today we have an eclipse in my 4th house of home life. I am not looking to move, but home just became 27 countries larger than it was before (that's how it feels). I feel like the eclipse might be a coincidence, but it starts a six month period that redefines home. Having a connection to so many countries is exciting 🙌🏻
I might update this blog post in the future with technical details. Intro to planetary transits HERE. Uranus takes 84 years to circle through the Zodiac; its touch points are few and far between. Uranus moves the collective - and as a slow moving planet, it’s easy to track transits.

I don’t do predictions personally. Self-awareness is where I spend most of my time. But still, it makes me wonder...
