Does sharing have to be selfless or painful?

One of the things that I have had to let go of is the idea that if we help someone, it has to be 100% altruistic - in order for the action to be good. I don’t know if this is an idea that I adopted in childhood seeing others hold up selflessness as good - “give till it hurts” etc. The world would be a much better place if we knew that it is always in our benefit to help others. We always get something in return, directly or indirectly 💛 🫶🏻 Research shows that kindness makes for a much healthier society. I read a book last year called Shadow, Self & Spirit on transpersonal (or collective) psychology. There was a chapter on the psychology of evil and violence. People are less likely to harm others if they experience some form of compassion in their lives, or if they believe that someone cares about them - even if it’s a public figure, a politician, a celeb, or a deity like Quan Yin. Or better yet, family members, friends, and strangers. Random acts...

What is energy healing?

I've been blogging about energy healing for 15 years! This post covers the basic of chakras - laying the foundations for those of you who might be new to the blog.  Scroll down for my book on energy healing. We can incorporate crystals, art, music and tarot into our sessions. I experimented with a lot of things, and included what works for me in my book: Chakra Healing & Magick.  🙌🏻 Also, I’m rounding out 570 blog posts!  Make the most of the search box and see what is out there. Clairvoyance, crystals, skeptics, tarot, astrology, flower essences, reiki, spirit guides, archangels, etc.  What is Energy Healing? Energy Healing takes into account the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of health & wellness. It relies on an intuitive connection with the body as well spiritual energy which is channeled through the Aura and Chakras, whirling through their themes and experiences. This aligns us with a sense of peace and flow in life.   The techn...

Can Psychic Intuitions be Timely and Specific?

We often see psychics in movies, and they have a message that is super urgent and needs to be delivered to someone far away - say, a public figure, or to alert the world about an impending disaster, etc.  One of my tutors in psychic school would tell us that those psychics probably lacked grounding.  They did tune into the collective, but there wasn't anything they could do about it. Grounding is a spiritual practice that brings your energy, your intuitions and your messages down to your daily life.  In school we learned to ask for grounded, specific, practical and timely messages - things we could pass on, and that would be useful to the person listening. My psychic school days were in 2010-2013.  Years later, I wasn't expecting to receive ungrounded messages. So imagine my surprise, when my intuition started telling me that I had to give a well-known south american musician a reading, urgently. I had to give FIRST NAME, LAST NAME a reading.  I laughed i...

A Defense of Skeptics

Hi there! I am an energy healer, astrologer and clairvoyant, but I also have a skeptical side. Here are my thoughts on skepticism.  🌀 There are places where it’s not needed and it gets in the way of our potential. Creativity, imagination, art, self-love, connecting with your heart. Finding happiness. I have had jobs where skepticism or cynicism blocked innovation. It’s what you envision before bringing it down to earth.  🌀  There are places where it is useful. Nobody wants to believe everything they come across. Skepticism = discernment. For example, relationships enter here.  🌀  There are places where it is necessary. A lot of things in life need science to back them up.  That is from a functional point of view. From an ego pov, if we build our identity on being skeptics, or not being skeptics, that keeps us from distinguishing between the three scenarios mentioned above. The world is also polarized in lots of ways, not just holistic vs science. But in ...
