Let's Team Up with the Angels (of the Elements)

Today I'd like to focus on the Elements and how the angels help us awaken the qualities of inspired action, empathy, structure and dialogue in our daily lives.  The Elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Air are present in the Aura (as discussed in Chakra Healing & Magick ) and in our astrology.  Ideally we would balance and integrate all four Elements, becoming well-rounded so that we can spread our wings and fly.  We can connect with the archangel that we are drawn to at any given time, or with those relevant to our Zodiac signs. For example, connecting with Archangels Gabriel and Uriel to strike balance between intuitive flow (Water) and being stable or structured (Earth). Water and Earth are opposites on the Zodiac Wheel, always complementing each other! The meditations below are designed to help you integrate each of the Elements, regardless of your natal chart. Natal Astrology will be covered in later posts.  The Angel of Fire:    Aries, Leo and ...

Reiki Showers (How To Clear Your Aura)

The past few weeks have been intense - my new healing room, yay! My sister got married, double yay yayyy!!! And finally, as per my last post, we had our water shut off for a week in Mexico City.  The first days of the shutoff coincided with a long weekend. Many of my  neighbours  went away and we didn't run out of water. Still it made me think about how precious  H20 is and why we need to look after reserves of fresh water. Imagine what your life would be like without daily showers - how icky that would feel. Not to mention the water needed for daily  hygiene, drinking, cooking etc.  As an energy healer, I find that I sometimes take on other people's energy and a nightly shower was my favorite way to release it. Not sensible from a sustainability point of view, but very effective as the Aura can hang onto emotional and mental energy. One of the reasons why I clear myself and my office after each session.  Why Bother With Aura Clea...

Do we take water for granted?

There are so many things that we take for granted and for most of us, water is one of them. You open the faucet and out it flows. What would our lives be like if it didn't happen?  Three million of my neighbours and I are about to find out. I live in Mexico City, in a neighbourhood that mirrors what you would expect to see in the United States or Canada. The main difference are endless traffic lines, obvious cultural variations and sometimes, poorly paved streets. The city’s water pipes are undergoing maintenance and tomorrow, the districts around me, home to 3 million people, are going to have our water supply cut off completely. The water supply is expected to be back at full capacity within seven days. An entire week.  We have water tanks that will last two days, so the building sent through a list of suggestions. I am sharing them because they made me think about my daily habits.  Avoid washing clothes and if it is absolutely nece...

Astrology: Can We Rewrite The Stars?

2026 Update: The Dark Pixie Astrology shut down. I  have since repúblished most of  my own articles here on my blog.  *** Three years ago I went back to London for a summer and signed up for class at my psychic school. The main reason for the trip was two months of angel reading classes, taking the advanced level. To make the most of the trip, I signed up for half a dozen classes, including Psychic Astrology with Demian Allan , who uses a "building-blocks" approach to teaching astrology. That was when astrology started to click for me.  One of the distinctive things about Demian's class is how he has students  walk on a wheel of the Zodiac,  feeling its energy. It sounds crazy, but if we activate our intuition we can see what Leo, Aquarius or Aries feel like. This helps put astrology transits into perspective because we feel the energy and know it's not mental. In one of my favorite exercises we brought down the Moon's energy to awaken our intuiti...
