I'm Sorry, Forgive me, Thank You, I Love You

The past couple months I have been playing the victim and using something that happened as work as an excuse to leave. That was really immature of me. I kept thinking "if they don't transfer me soon" I will leave and start a healing business. When the option was finally on the table, I didn't feel the offer was  right for me. Instead I asked for the chance to work part-time. That would give me time to work on my healing and writing, which is what I'm most interested in. The thought had occurred to me on several occasions but I kept pushing it away. Staying in my existing job would have been the safe thing to do.

Something happened in July that pissed me off, and that is when I decided to go. In hindsight that event helped me out. It gave me the guts to acknowledge what I wanted. Otherwise, I would have stayed on full time, when I really want to do healing. My reasons for staying at my job were mostly fear based. The big question is whether I can sell enough books in my 1st year to keep my work visa in the UK. I need to sell about 10K copies, which doesn't sound impossible. I think I can do it, especially with my family, friends and Facebook friends behind me. I have this neat little support group that I am very grateful for!

It all started to click yesterday when I googled a healing technique called Ho'oponopono. It is a Hawaiian healing method that requires the healee to take responsibility for every good or bad thing happening in their life. I had heard the theory that thought creates reality. This takes it one step further by encouraging the healee to apologise to themself for creating the situation, forgiving themself, and then thanking God for giving them the chance to start over. The whole process takes seconds, and all you need to do is repeat:

"I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you."

By repeating those words, you ask for forgiveness, give it, thank God for giving you a clean slate, and then say I love you to your subconscious. I also hear this exchange is directed at your inner child. The inner child is said to create the external situations and stressors in your life, with your actions, beliefs and thoughts influencing it. I imagine it would also create the good things. You can also apologize to other people, though I'm not sure if this is  done out loud and in person, or just on an energetic level.

The past two days I have been directing my intent at this situation, whilst repeating "I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you" at myself and at anyone who was involved. Quietly of course, I don't say it out loud. Most of the time I say the words to myself, apologising for creating anger and stress through my reactions. I'll move on to another issue when I am done with this one. Off the top of my head, I think this could work with chronic pain. Louise Hay states that pain is about punishment, so this forgiving and loving meditation could work on it. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

Why Esoteric Bookstores Aren't for Me

As a teenager, I was fluent in French. I hardly ever practice these days and it is starting to slip. This weekend I made it my mission to buy a french language book on energy healing. I'd love to learn about healing and practice my French in one go! We walked all over Paris today and eventually found ourselves outside an esoteric bookshop. It was part of the Gilbert Jeune chain. Each location has a theme, so if you're looking for something in particular you need to find the store before you set out. It can be annoying to walk past 5 or 6 stores before you find one that covers what you're looking for, but there are benefits too. When you finally find your store, there will be tons of books on the topic.

If I walk into a Waterstone's, the Mind Body Spirit section might be one or two bookshelves. At the Gilbert Jeune Esoteric shop, all of the books are on topics like personal development, spirituality, divination, occultism, Kabbalah, astrology, channeling, magic, buddhism, hinduism, tantra, meditation, animal communication, dream interpretation, and numerology. I spent forty minutes browsing and left without buying anything. There were way too many choices, and more than that, the energy in the shop was too much for me to handle! Most of the books were used. Maybe that is why I felt confused and overwhelmed when I was in there. They had too much energy lingering on them. Lots of energetic gunk.

I couldn't find a single one that I wanted to read. At first I thought it was my rusty French that made it harder to relate to the descriptions. Then I started wondering, who were all these authors and where did they get their information? Why should I read their books? I have too many ideas in my head already. Still wanting to practice my French, I started looking for English or American author's whose work had been translated. There were lots of Doreen Virtue, Neal Donald Walsh and Wayne Dyer books. I couldn't bring myself to buy any of them. It wasn't the first time I left an alternative shop empty handed.

The same thing happened when I went to a store called Mysteries in London. I had to leave that one because I got a bad stomach ache. One of my friends was waiting for a reading and I started getting very anxious. It took a while for it to wear off. I think picked something up in there. I only felt like myself again when I walked into a public loo and told it to flush itself. LOL. That was an experience I don't want to repeat.

Today I bathed myself in a white light when we left the store. It is just dawning on me that I could have protected myself when I went in there. Esoteric shops can be full of gunk. I still prefer my mainstream book stores. And when it comes to crystals, I will stop by the Natural History Museum for "mass produced crystals". I'd rather buy something that has been handled by dozens of tourists, and not healers, psychics and spiritualists. They feel clearer, I guess, because they haven't been put to use.

Color Healing and Shopping!

This morning I woke up at 9.30 am stressed because it was late. I don't know what's wrong with me! I think it is the pressure. I want to get by book edited as soon as possible, but it’s finally starting to dawn on me that I shouldn’t be in such a hurry. I am almost done, and I should be ready to publish the book before January. So instead of sitting down to work, I went shopping. Yes, shopping! Sometimes a girl needs to buy new clothes. It has been cold in London, and my winter clothes are worn out. That is what happens when I shop at H&M and Zara.  Clothes don't last as long as they used to. Time to get new sweaters and long sleeve T's. I went to Uniqlo and spend 20 minutes trying on jackets in different colours. Blue is usually my colour, but the one I saw today was dark. I need some colour in my life! I finally settled on brown, which is great for grounding, and made my way to the checkout counter.

On my way out, I spotted the same jacket in pale blue and in white. I don't know how I missed them! Thirty seconds later I was trying them on in front of the mirror. Light and bright colours make me feel so much better than dark ones. Ever since I moved to London my wardrobe has gone navy, gray and black. It's time I put a stop to that. Today I realised that I can practice colour healing when I go shopping, especially if I go into a store with the same things in millions of different colours. What is colour healing, you may ask? Colour and sound both have vibrational qualities that we can use to give our frequency a tune up. Red grounds and activates my energy. White and silver clear and raise my vibration. They can also protect me, as does the colour purple. I love purple, green, red and white. Those are the colours I should be wearing. Pale blue has a healing quality to it. I don't relate to orange and yellow. A couple years ago, a substitute teacher came to my psychic development class with a pile of ribbons. He threw them on a pile in the middle of the floor and told us to choose the one that we were drawn to. I went for violet. We then used the colours to give each other psychic readings. One of my classmates picked a bright red ribbon, and when I tuned it, I saw a lollipop. It was about her childish appetite for life. My violet ribbon was about my crown chakra opening up to intuition and spirit.

Colour Healing may be about using the vibrational quality of colour to heal our energy system, but it can also tell you a lot about yourself. Ask yourself what you see in a particular colour. How does it make you feel? I think this is why some people talk about being "green with envy" or "feeling blue". We can relate to the intuitive world of feelings through colours  Today I'm pale blue. Tomorrow I might leave the house wearing red or black. Black can be elegant, and it can also help camouflage your feelings. It's black, but not dark. I love walking into a store and finding clothes that come in zillions of colours. Today I went back to the sales desk and exchanged the jacket. It shouldn't have been necessary to try them on so many times, but I had to feel it to make the choice. I hope its cold this weekend!

Spiritual Response and Restructuring - with Amanda Roberts

I'm really pleased to introduce a guest post by Amanda Roberts, one of my tutors at the The College of Psychic StudiesAmanda is a healer, speaker and medium specialising in Spiritual Response Therapy and Spiritual Restructuring. I've invited Amanda to tell us about her exciting plans for this weekend's Mind Body Soul exhibit in London.

"Four Days to go and I shall be ready to have my first exhibition. Yes you can find me at the Mind, Body, Soul Exhibition this coming Friday 28th September at Olympia in London. All very exciting but also rather scary as I am taking a big step. I am not only exhibiting but also rebranding myself as myself at the same time. Why not do everything at once? It’s a daring move, but also brilliant timing as it is the perfect platform to launch the ‘new’ me.

After years as Bodykarm I am finally going to be Amanda Roberts. Amanda Roberts – Healer, Speaker, Medium.  No more hiding behind a company name. I am going to finally step out into the limelight as myself. It’s a challenging mental shift in a way that I had not considered in full when I ventured in it! It is also very exciting.  It is full of possibilities and new unexplored avenues and doorways.

Lots of planning, lots of work and lots of expense, and of course, administration – I admit I have fantastic assistance on the last front though I do have to do everything else myself.

I’ve had my business colours done, logo re-designed, new artwork for leaflets, business cards etc, but there is printing still to be done and the website is a glorious work in progress – and fingers crossed everything will come into fruition by Thursday 27th September in time for the Exhibition."

Visit Amanda at Stand T9 in the new Treatment Experience Zone this weekend. She has kindly shared the following with us in anticipation of this weekend's event. Visit her stand at the MBS to inquire about an introductory session:

What is Spiritual Restructuring (SpR)?

Spiritual Restructuring (SpR) is a powerful and cutting edge energy healing system which accesses Universal Healing Energy to release physical, mental, emotional and spiritual discordant pain, trauma and energy. It uses both kinesiology and a pendulum to identify and release energies within the skeletal and muscular systems to bring about balance and healing. It is excellent at releasing pain as well as psychic wounds and programmes that are held within the cells in our body.

Benefits

  • Realign and release energies from the skeletal muscular system
  • Release physical, mental, emotional and spiritual pain
  • Promote balance and healing"

Amanda will be offering a FREE workshop on Spiritual Restructuring this  Friday the 29th at 2.45 pm in Room 2 at the Mind Body Soul exhibit. Come along, find out more and experience it for yourself.

What is Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT)?

Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) clears 13 basic programs, blocks, and limiting beliefs that keep us from moving forward, enjoying life and expressing ourselves fully in our life. SRT clears past lives and negative energy so that we can fulfil our highest potential. Within this the practitioner connects with your Higher Self through using charts and a pendulum to douse to clear your soul records so that healing and change can occur.

 Benefits
  • Create Abundance – Wealth, health, happiness
  • Create and enhance love and relationship
  • Clear phobias and fears

Thank You Amanda for this lovely guest post!

The world keeps on spinning

I'm exhausted! Splitting my time across three jobs is as complicated as it sounds.  It just so happens that when I resigned, the company was going to transfer me. It went ahead, and I'm working one morning on my old job, two and a half days on the "new job" and Thursday and Friday I write my Energy Healing book!

It is lovely to have a three day week, but sticking to that split is a challenge. Today I spent too much time doing the "old" job and I have to catch up on everything tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll spend Thursday doing my "new" job instead of revising my book. My week sounds crazy. Maybe this is an opportunity for me to learn boundaries? Or to prioritize?

Aaaah!

My three day a week notice period is a fantastic opportunity for me to transition into my new life. But juggling it is hard. I'm going to collapse when I get home tonight. I'm so tired that I almost wish I wasn't going to Paris for the weekend! My life feels like a noisy carousel with flashing lights and spinning attractions. If it doesn't slow down I might punch a clown. Is that healerly enough for you? LOL.

Are Psychic Readings just Common Sense?

Sometimes I wonder if psychic readings are just common sense on steroids. The literal meaning of the word clairvoyance is "too see clearly," and  this has little to do with visualisation, symbols and images. It is about being able to see people, situations and challenges clearly and then using that vision to formulate a plan of action. This isn't to see that clairvoyant images have no role in readings. On some occasions I might get a symbol about what a situation means.

For example, you could get a "stop sign" or a green light. In my daily life I won't activate my brow chakra all the time, and instead of an image I'll just understand things faster. I also think my mind is good at making connections and sometimes intuition kicks in and helps with these. Sometimes it feels like common sense and not intuition. I do wonder what that is about though, especially when things appear to be so obvious but other people just don't see them. Then again, it is so much easier to spot someone else's problem. My own can be very elusive!

Today I gave my boss a psychic reading. I didn't mean to and she didn't ask for one. She asked for advice, and my mind kicked into channeling mode. I had to tone it down to make it work-friendly but it was a reading. With clients we're taught to tell it like it is.  In this case I had to be sure the words I said sounded professional and I found myself word-smithing the reading to give it corporate lingo. We talked about growth opportunities instead of karmic lessons and soul contracts.I didn't say half of the things that were running through my mind because they might not be tactful. It went over well though and I think it helped her. If anything, it made me realise that I'm ready to start coaching people. Call it a psychic reading, intuitive coaching, or common sensical advice.

Have you ever seen the movie Cool Runnings? This is what intuition, clairvoyance and meditation can do for you. Love it!

Irrational Fears and Fragmented Souls

As a kid I was terrified of the Virgin Mary. We used to hear stories about other children who had seen her, for example at Fatima and in Yugoslavia. The topic came up often at our Catholic School and the kids were always revered.

Once or twice we heard of very holy children who saw her and died young. What terrified me though, was the thought of a supernatural being appearing in the 1st place. How scary! When we prayed I would ask her not to appear and I would also keep my eyes shut. The thought of seeing her freaked me out. Growing up in a Catholic family, you can imagine how much this stressed me out. It wasn’t just the Virgin Mary that scared me. I was also scared of seeing angels. Ghosts and monsters didn’t frighten me so much because I didn’t think they were real.

Why was I so worried about seeing an angel? Not sure this is the answer, but something came up in one of my classes this year. We were learning about Soul Retrievals and one of my classmates tried to heal me and I rejected it. Soul Retrieval has to do with traumatic experiences that are too much for us to assimilate, and this causes a piece of our soul to break off. In a session the healer would use clairvoyance and intuition to identify the moment when the soul fractured and then use healing to bring it back. This is how we would describe it in spiritual terms. A doctor who works with the human mind might look at it in a different angle.

So how does this tie into my fear of seeing the supernatural?  My classmate sensed a toddler Geena who was frightened by a ghoul in the streets. She told me that the experience has traumatized me and I'd blocked it out.  I was also blocking my clairvoyance. Funny thing is I think she's right. I can feel, hear and sense Ascended Masters and angels but I do not see them clearly. And I never see earth bound spirits. She tried to send healing to my toddler-self, but I wasn't ready to accept it. Even now I am reluctant to see dark energies and spirits. When people ask I like to reply that I only see nice things. One of my friends heard this and told me we should be scared of the dark. After all you can only see light in darkness.

It's been a few weeks since the session and I've been meditating on it. Still wondering if and when I'll be ready to integrate that part of my soul again. Would I mean that I'll see everything? I think I want to. It all goes hand in hand with some of the other fun topics that we've studied in school, including Spirit Release. So far I've had one instance where I am sure that my client had some sort of spirit attached. I could feel it in the room but I couldn't see it. In that case I asked Archangel Michael to come take it away and only held the space. It was not as scary as I thought it would be and I was left with a little bit of an adrenalin rush at the end of the session. It took me a while to figure out what was going on.

Living with Reiki - A Book Review

I just had a look at my Kindle and I have six books going at the moment! The list is varied, I was reading 50 Shades and now I'm done with book 2 so I can move back to my normal interests: healing, vampire fiction, witchy fiction, quantum physics, Russian classics, and How to Blog a Book. At the moment I have War & Peace going as well as a new book I've just downloaded called the Magick of Reiki: Focused Energy for Healing, Ritual and Spiritual Development. Its written by a healer-slash-witch called Christopher Penczak. The reviews say it will teach me to use Reiki to further my spiritual development and to "partner with the universe" and make magic in my life! Sounds exciting. Magic is more than spells, I think it is about using the law of attraction and trusting universal energy to work for us as it best knows how. Can't wait to read the book!

I was inspired to learn more about Reiki after downloading Wojciech "Nathaniel" Usarzewicz's latest book: Living with Reiki: the story of spiritual journey through the healing art for new age. If you are not familiar with Nathaniel, he runs a blog called A State of Mind which  used to be obstinately psi-oriented, and has recently been transformed into spirituality, manifestation and pure positivity. The past year I've been reading Nate's posts on ASOM wondering what caused the shift and his book spells out the answer. It looks like Reiki has changed his outlook on life! Nathaniel is also applying it in ways that I hadn't thought of. Funny thing is I put the book down 2 months ago, and stopped just before Nate explained how we used Reiki to start his publishing company, find more readers and sell more books. That is what I'm aiming to do right this minute! =)

I'm curious to learn more about Reiki, particularly the way Nate applies it. His books talks in great detail about how he has used it to bring about positive change in his life. Integrating everything we know is the real challenge. Its easier to talk the talk than it is to walk the talk. Especially when you (I) are bombarded with info online and in books. How do we take all of the things we learn and use them to  heal aspects of ourselves that we thought we couldn't get away from? I felt compelled to stop reading and make a note of this before I forget it. Its nice to follow in someone else's footsteps, particularly when they've published lots of books (which I'd like to do!), and they've managed to heal themselves along the way. I'm going to wait till I've read the rest of the book before changing my Amazon book wheel, but I think this one will make my Top 10. Hmmmm, who would I bump? Possibly Nate's other book, Psychic Development Simplified? Only seems fair  ;-)

Learning to Pace Myself

This is my 1st official week working part-time! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I went to the office and Thursday and Friday I get to spend my time writing, healing and also chilling out. I could really get used to this. A couple years ago I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and the author talked about creating assets that would make money even if you don't work 9 to 5. That gets us out of the rat race. My long term vision is for my books to do that. I do like working but I think a flexible work schedule will be good for me.

In the long run it will be easier to live in the UK if I can write when I'm in Mexico and still publish. My last day at work is in February and I think I'll go to Mexico for a couple weeks to do healings and to write there. It will be nice to chill out, go to the beach and spend some time with the family. I have to say I am really enjoying my new part corporate, part creative life. The 1st draft of my Guide to Energy Healing is done and I'm planning on publishing it before the year is over. At the moment I'm revising the draft, rewriting it, and then I'll let a few friends and healers have a look and give me feedback. If anyone knows a freelance editor and proof reader that would also be really helpful! My goal is to self-publish it and I'd like to make sure it reads well.

My intuition tells me not to rush it. The feeling that I need to hurry is mostly driven by fear. I have about 5 months to get this going while I'm still part time at work. When that runs out I aim to have a solid healing practice and a "passive" income from my books. =)

In the meantime I'm trying to keep things simple. Focus on the small tasks that will lay the groundwork for my publishing business in the future. So I'm going to focus on writing, blogging and networking online. Once I've managed to keep that going I might start adding new elements to my plans. At the moment there are too many things that I'd like to do so I guess its best to prioritise and then build on it in the future. The funny thing is I've landed on a business idea that leverages all of my experiences the past 10-15 years: energy healing, business school, marketing, and my undergraduate degree in philosophy. When I chose Philosophy I had no idea how to make it work as part of a day job. Now writing seems to fit quite nicely. Follow your passion I tell you!

Serenity Now!

The past couple of weeks I have been toying with the idea of putting my name and my face on my blog. On one hand I’m really loving this and I want to shout about it to everyone I meet. My mom keeps asking if she can share it with her friends and with my extended family. At the moment few people know that this is my blog. I've kept it anonymous because it gives me a chance to explore without stressing too much about whether people will understand it or like it. The other big plus is that I can write about people and the things that happen without offending them or freaking them out. Today is one of those days when I’m glad this is still anonymous.

This morning I volunteered in my school's clinic. There are usually 4-5 accredited healers and any students work under their supervision. I've been to the clinic about 5 times and it is always great practice. As a student I learn a lot because the clients tend to need healing more than my case studies. We also see a greater variety of clients. Sharing the space with another healer can be a little bit awkward and sometimes its hard to move naturally without bumping into each other.  When I'm working with my own clients I tend to go where my intuition leads me. If I'm at the clinic I find myself grounding, holding the space, and staying out of the healer’s way. Some are more fluid in their approaches and they let us get in there. Other healers can be very rigid and directive.

Today the structure nearly drove me crazy. I had to make like a duck and let the water slide off my back. Don’t get me wrong, she was a lovely lady and a great healer. She gave me a healing that I am so grateful for. I have been pretty tense the past couple of weeks and I feel completely relaxed now. What I don't like is constantly being reminded that I'm a student. Pushes my yellow buttons. It makes it harder when the person who does the reminding feels obliged to teach me a lesson. I have tutors for that, and I’m two weeks away from my panel, for Christ’s sake! It was all I could do to stay centered and attuned. We got off to a rocky start because of a misunderstanding which I cleared asap. The first session was a bit awkward but eventually she warmed up to me.

I think I may have rattled her with my vibes. What can I learn from today? I could be more aware of how much order and structure people need to feel secure. My relaxed Mexican attitude puts some people feel at ease, but it can make others nervous. I have a Swiss friend at work who gets rattled when I propose a creative opening for our team meetings. All in all, today wasn’t bad. The very nice, structured healer pointed out a mistake that I need to avoid at my panel. At one point I was holding my hands too close to the client's heart chakra and she suggested I let my arms float and find the right spot. That will come in handy as I don't want to squish one of the tutor's brow chakras at the panel. Its the little things we forget when we're being watched LOL.

Using Reiki in Energy Healing Work - a Guest Post by Nathan

I'd like to introduce this guestpost by Nathan from the psychic blog, A State of Mind. There are many types of energy healing, some involve calling on universal energy and others, working with our own energy which as Nathan points out, can be exhausting and counter productive. The type of energy healing that I practice is similar to Reiki; it involves channeling universal energy ~ Regina

"Every time I have an opportunity to share some information about Reiki, I use it. Today, Geena gave me such opportunity, allowing me to write a guest post for this blog. And since Geena focuses upon energy healing, I think it’s a great idea to explain how Reiki can help you and other energy healers in your work.

For the purpose of this article, I assume that energy healing is the type of psychic work, in which you use your own life energy in order to heal someone. In Poland, this is commonly known as bioenergy therapy and it’s an official profession, for which you need to have proper authorization and certificates, and you have to be a member of a therapist guild.

Now, it’s essential to explain the theory behind energy healing, and theory behind Reiki. Let’s start with energy healing - in this form of psychic work, you use your own energy (Chi, Prana, Ki) to manipulate and heal blockages or damages in other’s person energy body - well, that’s standard theory, in practice it looks a bit more complex. Because you have control over your own energy, you can shape it into tools, and use it in whatever way you like. But whenever you use this energy of yours, you lose it - your life force reservoir  is being depleted, it’s a fact known to every person who works with his or hers own energy. Therefore, after long session of energy healing, you need to recharge your batteries through various techniques. Reiki is one of such techniques.

How Does Reiki Work

Reiki works in a different way than classic energy healing does. You do not have control over Reiki energy, you’re a channel, through which the energy flows into the other’s person body in order to heal it. It is Reiki that heals, not the practitioner and his energies. And, while our own energy can be contaminated with our own fears, worries and concerns, thus making it risky to use it for energy healing (unless you learn ways to purify and cleanse the energy you’re using), Reiki is a pure, spiritual light - not the most powerful energy in the Universe, but still a very gentle, spiritual form of vibrations. It comes from the Source (God, the Universe, the Absolute), and it flows through the practitioner into the person who needs healing. There, it heals blockages and brings harmony back. Quite simple, isn’t it?

As such, Reiki can help you in your classic energy healing work - even if you won’t be using Reiki for healing as a stand-alone technique. I know a lot of healers who use their own energy to heal, but they use Reiki on themselves after work hours - why so? Because it’s very, very useful.

Recharge

The very first thing that Reiki can help you with is the process of recharging your batteries. As you work with your own energy - to heal, or to do psychic readings, or to create a psiball or even play with telekinesis (because you can), you deplete your own energy. This life force is like a fuel, the more you do, the more energy is being used. When your energy level is low, you feel tired, depressed, and if you won’t recharge yourself, it’s just a matter of time before you’re struck with an illness, not to mention some more serious consequences for your physical and emotional health. So, you need to recharge yourself.

Reiki can help you with this - after becoming a Reiki practitioner, you can simple spend 30 minutes each day doing self-treatment session, and the spiritual energy will flow into you. Within you, Reiki is transformed into normal life energy, Chi, which fuels your every action, thought and emotion. Doing Reiki self-healing sessions after any form of energy work or psychic work is a way to recharge your batteries, and feel alive once more.  And of course, its a great way to keep yourself spiritually healthy.

Cleanse the environment and yourself

But more than that, Reiki can be used to create a sterile environment for your healing work. It’s a standard procedure to cleanse the room in which you do psychic work, and to cleanse yourself. Some people use white sage to do this, others prefer candles and magical rituals, some visualize a bright, spiritual light that cleanse and protects the room. In similar way, practitioners of the second degree of Reiki can use symbols to cleanse and protect the room. But they can use Reiki symbols to cleanse themselves, as well, and make sure that their aura is clean, so they won’t transfer their worries and concerns to their patients.

Keeping your aura and your environment clean on energetic and spiritual level is essential for safe and successful energy healing work.

Heal Yourself, First

Finally, Reiki is a path of spiritual development, as well. It can help you face your own dark side, your fears and worries and bad beliefs. And it can help you heal these so called “blockages”, through self-treatment sessions and guidance on the path of spiritual growth. This leads to two things. First, your life gets better and better. But also, this leads to the fact that with time, you become more and more spiritual person, and the more spiritual you are, the less problems you carry with your own energies. The more spiritual you are, the less probable it is to transfer your fears and negative beliefs to other person. In Reiki practice there is a rule - first, heal yourself! And it’s essential for successful healing practice.

That’s it - as you can see, Reiki is a very useful tool for every energy healer, even if you do not plan to use Reiki for healing others. But since it can help you in your daily healing practice, and it can support your spiritual growth, then I think it’s worth becoming a practitioner of the first two degrees. It won’t hurt you, but it will improve your life and your healing practice, for sure!"
