Associate Remote Viewing and a Big Surprise!

I can't sleep, so I might as well blog. And I have a lot to write about this week! On Monday my Self-Healing, Cancer & Love e-book made Amazon's best sellers in the free Kindle store! It went all the way up to No. 9 and stayed there a whole day. Since then it's hung on in the paid Kindle store. Top 10 for 'cancer' and Top 20 for 'Mental and Emotional Healing'. Yay! Thank goodness for miracles =)

This week I'm an Amazon Best Seller! (or Best Giveaway-er)! I'm psyched so many people got the book. I hope it gets them to think differently about their lives, with or without cancer.  That's what I'm hoping.

My other big news ....

I finally cracked Remote Viewing! If you remember my last post about RV, I was  frustrated and confused with the  process. Couldn't wrap my head around it. Well this week things changed. We were told to come to class with two Yes-No questions. My first question was 'Should I stay in London' as I am tempted to go home (Mexico or US). Where would I be happiest and more on purpose?

We started by taking a white piece of paper and writing our name, the date, location, time, etc. Then we made a note of our Advanced Visuals (what came to mind before the reading) and how we felt. I was nervous and sleepy. Then the teacher read out the coordinate (the tag used to identify the image we were viewing). I wrote it down and immediate drew a squiggly shape underneath.

That squiggly is what we use to connect to the RV target. The teacher had two items hidden out of sight. Both had the same coordinate tag assigned, but one signaled YES and the other NO.

We then went through a list of questions, nothing to do with our overarching question. We were instructed to put our fingertip on the squiggly and close our eyes. Get a sense of the target:

Is it solid?
Is there liquid/water?
Is it alive?
Is it inanimate?
What do you hear?
What do you smell
Any colors?

I got solid (yes), liquid (no), alive (no), inanimate (yes), I heard an Edith Piaf song that I sometimes listen to on my iPod when I am out for a run. Didn't get any colors. And then finally when we were instructed to bring our attention to the centre of the room and "see" an object on an empty table ...

I saw an Apple.

The teacher came round to look at our answers. I was like, I saw an apple. I have no idea what that means! Well she did! But first, she told me my answer was NO.

What? Like really leave London? ...

It turns out that the object I remote viewed was a pair of APPLE earphones. The kind you use to listen to MUSIC. And it clearly had no liquid, no pulse, etc. I remote viewed the object that stood for NO.

How do I feel about this? Not sure. For years I wanted to move to London and when I finally landed a work visa (without a job offer) I couldn't believe my luck. That was in January 2009, right after the stock market crashed and things went haywire. But even so, it only took two mons to find a job. And then I stumbled upon The College of Psychic Studies. And eventually energy healing. It all came together.

So is that it then? I have some pondering to do.

Healing with Music

Listening to music is one of my favourite ways to meditate. Especially instrumental music. All I do is listen and let the music move me, especially if it has ups and downs that help me channel my emotions.

I recently discovered a wonderful violinist on Youtube: Lindsey Stirling. Here are a few of her pieces. Elements and Crystallize seem to work best for me, though she has dozens online so take your pick!

Here are a few links to her Youtube channel. Enjoy!

Books, Miracles and the Final Freebie

Yesterday I experienced a miracle. For the past three months I've ve been trying to get my book featured in a Bookbub mailing list, and it was finally accepted! Woohoo! Third time is definitely the charm =)

Bookbub is a hub for Bargain and Free Kindle books. I signed up a couple weeks ago and asked to be notified when crime thrillers and supernatural fiction were on sale. It makes me feel like a kid in a candy store.

I recently downloaded a fantasy crime thriller about a detective who catches criminals (I hope, not done with it yet) with the help of spirit guides. I love TV shows about detectives, CSI, etc. This book was pretty much written for me.

My book on Self-Healing, Cancer and Love will be listed this weekend, on what I expect to be my last giveaway. If you haven't downloaded it yet, this is the time to do it. The e-book will be FREE on Saturday, Sunday & Monday. At which point, I will have exhausted the very last of my Kindle Freebie Days.

The book is available on Kindle here:

Channeling Love and Healing

I have a channeling class this term. It's been running for four weeks and we have been working our way up to channeling, which finally happens tonight.

So far I have done loads of clairvoyant meditations in my life and translated these to readings for myself and for others. As far as I can tell, when you channel you just let the information flow (closer to what I do when I write, and the class is about speaking and writing).

Last week we worked on releasing our fears and limiting beliefs. Today I expect we will try to connect to this feeling of absolute and unconditional love, and then speak from the heart. It's being in the zone ....

Anyhooo, that is what I expect. I will tell you about it when the class is over and I have a better idea =)

Google Wants Us All to Live Longer

Yesterday I was reading about a new venture that Google has: making us live longer. Maybe they are hoping to embarrass us with goofy pics from our misspent youth when we are well into our hundreds.

Larry Page announced the new venture on his Google + account (luckily the media picked it up as I am still a Facebook gal). They hope to tackle health care issues that will extend our life expectancy.

But do we really want to live that much longer? Maybe it depends on the quality of life we can expect. How healthy will we be in our 80's, 90's, 100's? Or beyond?

What would you do with the extra time, all those moments? Am I making the most of the moment I have right now? Maybe we could focus on living today, being present and enjoying it. Day in and day out. That could be worth more to us in the long run ...

I am curious to see what Google comes up with.

Why are we so attached to our beliefs?

Yesterday I skipped class. I had been planning on taking a friend to an intro lecture at the Kabbalah Centre and suddenly felt like I needed space. I was there on Friday night for dinner and on Monday for my weekly class. Three times this week would have been too many K-vibes. We went for noodles instead.

I am also turning my attention back to Energy Healing. I have been devouring a fantastic new book called The Seven Lies of the Human Race. Written by a fellow healer and friend, Maria Veiga, the book looks at the Chakras through the lens of psychology. Each  Chakra corresponds to a stage in our personal development and a false belief (or lie) that we risk adopting. The way we stumble upon the belief pushes us towards one of two extremes. Our personal experiences influence which side of the coin we choose to believe.

You will have to read Maria's lovely book to find out more, but the Brow Chakra has me intrigued. Not surprising as I spend a lot of time in my head. Also called the Third Eye, this energy centre relates to our beliefs, thoughts, analytical capabilities, clairvoyance, intuition and our creative vision. It helps us bring our creativity to life. Especially if you are visual. A flexible Brow also gives us room to experiment.

The Brow Chakra links very closely with the Solar Plexus Chakra, which corresponds to our sense of self and confidence. Our beliefs unfortunately are often intertwined with our sense of self. I say unfortunately, because it is only natural for us to hold different beliefs. We would find it easier to get along if we didn't take our beliefs or ourselves so seriously. Less tension, less conflict, etc.

In The Seven Lies of the Human Race, Maria points out two potential extremes when it comes out our personal beliefs. On one side we have the archetype of the Dabbler, who doesn't commit to believing in anything. He dabbles and doesn't deep dive anywhere. On the other side of the spectrum, we have the Dogmatist, who walks a virtual tightrope when it comes to their belief system. This can apply to spirituality and religion as much as science or politics.

This has me thinking - where do I fall on that spectrum? I think I went from being a dogmatist in my youth, to being skeptical about religion, to dabbling in spirituality a few years ago. I am starting to find middle ground. And I have also realised it doesn't matter if I get it right or wrong because I don't believe in absolute truths either. Not Science. Not God. Not even Democracy, because as we have seen recently, governments shut down when they disagree.

Today I listened to a recording called Fighting Cancer by Abraham Hicks - a spiritual message that resonates with me even though my logical mind still resists it. Can we put faith in spiritual healing and also in Science?

New Moon in Scorpio

Update: This post is based on Kabbalistic Astrology. Wish I could tell you how it differs from other astrological calendars. I shall look into it sometime soon.

I wish I knew more about astrology. One of the things I like about the Kabbalah Centre is the focus given to the signs. Kabbalah follows the Moon, not the Sun. Moon signs are about our inner life and motivations. Sun signs are, as far as I can tell, about our outward facing energy and personality. I think this is why astrology charts that only look at Sun Signs can come across as generic or one dimensional sometimes.

Whereas we each have our own Sun, Moon and planetary signs, we also come into contact with the energy that comes into the world any given month. As far as I can tell, the energy pulls on us the same way the moon pulls on the water. It affects the way we feel in any given situation and how we choose to react.

This month we are entering Scorpio and would do well to keep our eyes peeled for the little zinger. This is the month when we can pull up our sleeves and really build something that we'll be proud of. That, or kill it with one fell swoop. Scorpios are meant to be intuitive, sharp, and intense. The scorpio energy means this month we'll be torn between building something grand, or just wrecking it with one fell swoop. Funny thing is I have been feeling that myself. Keep going or wreck it.

This month I have chosen to build a future. So how do I go about it? I think it's down to trusting, opening up and being willing to lose control. That was the other tendency that was flagged for Scorpio: control issues. So what if things aren't going exactly as hoped or planned?

It is time to give the universe, and others, the benefit of the doubt. This is a month that can bring lot's of crises. Growth Spurts. Opportunities. Resist the urge to panic or to give up. Trust that it will give you the chance to build something new and exciting.

Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is here. This is the month when pink ribbons and Breast Cancer Awareness come out in full bloom. Awareness, early detection and new treatments have all led to increased survival rates the past 20 years. It's now time to raise awareness of the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of disease.

With this in mind, I've reduced the price of my Self-Healing, Cancer and Love e-book to $2.99 this month (Oct 2013). This book looks at disease holistically, highlighting what we can call emotional risk factors for cancer.

Read the introduction HERE or Buy The Book on:

Not in the US? The e-book price on Amazon websites should roughly match the $2.99 US price point in your currency.

The Value of Commitment

Lately I have been doubting my ability to become a full-time healer. I am glad I wrote this book on healing and cancer, I wouldn't have it any other way, but it's time to get a job again. At least for a while. I am hoping for a short term or part-time job to give me a decent source of income. A permanent contract could also work, though it would require more commitment. I am not ready to give up yet.

Commitment is the key word. Funny thing is when I ask whether it is possible to pull of my dream of becoming a full-time healer and writer, the card that comes up is the Commitment card from Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Michael deck. I understand, commit to an outcome Regina. But what does it mean? I finally had a clear answer at Kabbalah class yesterday. You have to want it as much as Rudy wanted to play football at Notre Dame (if you don't remember the 90's movie, see below!). Rudy didn't make the cut, he was too small to play, but he really wanted to play. And when we really want something, the Universe adds an extra oomph that pushes us over the barrier.

Yesterday we had what I would call an unconventional bible class. Kabbalah looks at the Bible as a metaphor that we can deconstruct to find a hidden meaning. It never says what it means. And its not literal. This week we touched on Noah's Arc and the flood. Noah saved the human race and animals by bringing male and female pairs onto the boat. He could have saved more people. He didn’t try because he didn’t think it possible. Maybe he was hung up on the physical limitations. Maybe Noah felt special because God singled him out, saying: Noah, save yourself!

Well, the Kabbalist says: Noah knew about the flood ahead of time so that he could warn others. They didn't want to listen? Try harder. They could have built more boats. They had time to do it. That also begs the question: Did God send the flood or was it a natural disaster that they could have escaped? I don't believe in a God that intentionally causes pain on Earth, and more often than not, intuition sends warning signs so that we can sidestep those events. That is what our guardian angels are here for, to protect and serve =)

So what could Noah have done differently? Yesterday we  heard about three different bible characters and their approaches to life. First Noah, who was hung up on whether he could. Then Abraham who had a clear desire to help others. He wanted to. (You'll have to forgive me here because I don't have an example, not an avid bible reader). From a Kabbalistic point of view, desire creates a vacuum in us that the universe fills with spiritual energy. Desire to help others creates a bigger more powerful vacuum. So truly wanting something, and wanting to help others, makes a bigger difference than whether we think we can. And whether common sense agrees. It's about will power.

Finally, the last example was Moses who famously freed the slaves in Egypt. He knew he could. He wanted to. And against all odds and his own bad temper, he pushed as hard as he could until he made it happen. Moses was truly committed. That was the example to follow. Our homework was to identify areas where we feel that we can’t make any progress. Whether it’s getting along with relatives. Having a stable, romantic relationship. Doing well financially. Where do we feel helpless? The task was to upgrade our thinking from "I can't" to "I want to" and finally "I have to, no matter what." We have to fight for it.

Here's the movie trailer. Enjoy!
