Energy Follows Thought Online ...

I was reading over some of my posts this morning and realized that most of them are about positive experiences. When something good happens we want to share it, conversely when something not so great happens the best thing to do is to get over it and move on.  One of the reasons that I go out of my way to keep my blog light and upbeat is this notion that energy follows thought, i.e. if you keep complaining that there are no single guys in New York you will never meet a single guy in New York.  This becomes even stronger when we put our thoughts down on "paper".

Thoughts are frozen when they are published on the internet, so it's even more important to make sure we immortalize positive energy. Putting negative energy out into the world will only lower our own vibration. For example, a few days ago I made a comment on a Facebook page and the administrator deleted it. I complained about it, and they deleted it again. I was offended at the comment moderation, and made a snide remark about it on my own Facebook page. When I saw the little tirade on my Wall, my vibration sank and my energy felt weaker and unhappy. I deleted the angry post immediately, and went on to write something that I was thankful for.

I firmly believe positive thinking and an optimistic outlook will help you transform your life, one day at a time. This is even more important when we voice our opinions, the energy we put into our thoughts is multiplied by the amount of people who listen. If you make a statement and a friend contemplates on it, you'll have twice the energy focused on that thought. Now multiply that by the amount of people that might read your comment online, would you rather amplify a positive or a negative message?

Clearing The Energy Field

This was a huge week for me! I had two case studies that turned out to be major breakthroughs. Both of my case studies gave me immediate feedback on an ache fading away during the healing session. This was a major revelation for me, up until now I always assumed that healing was a gradual process that worked over a series of weeks. The feedback showed me that it is possible to get immediate results.

The first session was a standard chair healing. I sat the recipient down on a chair in my living room and asked her to chill out and let me know if she needed anything. It was the 1st time she'd had healing done and she was excited to be one of my guinea pigs for class. I put my hands on her shoulders to ground her, and then worked my way down each of the chakras starting with the crown all the way to the base.

At this point I was still undecided about whether or not I wanted to scan and clear her aura, as this can be a little bit awkward on a chair. I kneeled beside her and scanned each of the layers from behind to make it a long clean swoop, and stopped whenever I noticed any stuck energy. Recognizing this takes a little bit of practice and everyone feels it a little bit differently. My hands tend to be cold during a healing, and when I feel heat or electricity I make an effort to clear it out. My left hand is better for scanning and giving out gentle energy, while the right palm channels too much energy on some ocassions.

I will typically use my left hand to scan, and will then use soft sweeping motions with the right hand to brush the stuck energy out of the person's energy field. When I was working with this woman I noticed a lot of heat and electricity around her head, and especially over her ears out in the emotional layer. My gut feel told me that she was listening to constant chatter that was confusing her, on a feeling level. I brushed the energy upwards away from her head, with the intent to burn and release it.

The feedback after this session was really good, the headache disappearing was one of the 1st things she mentioned spontaneously.  One of the amazing things about experimenting with healing is that most of my friends are new to this, and their reactions are almost as strong as mine. It was the first time someone actually told me that an actual problem had gone away, and I was happy to learn that healing could have an immediate effect. So that was one big score for my healing practice!   =)

The second big breakthrough was similar to this one, but it required a 5 minute healing as I was put on the spot and asked for help with a specific problem. The healings we practice in school tend to be very structures, we work our way through each of the 7 chakras, then we balance the spinal column, and then we clear the etheric, mental, emotional and spiritual layers of the aura (front, back and sides).

It takes a long time to cover so much ground, but when you're new you need to cover all of your bases as the intuitive direction might not be so strong. Yesterday I popped by a friend's house to give her a healing, and her mum had a stomach ache that was weighing her down. She was very interested to learn that I was into healing, and asked if I could "heal" her stomach. We were sitting in the living room watching TV with her family and I literally had 3 minutes for a quickie healing. It was a real case of improv!

The grounding, attuning, protecting and asking for  permission took all of 30 seconds. I stepped into her energy field and put my hands on her shoulders to ground her, leaving them there for another minute or so. I then moved straight for the solar plexus and tummy area, keeping one hand at the front and another at the back. There was a lot of hot stuck energy, and my mind flashed back to the headache that disappeared earlier that week. It hadn't occured to me to brush the energy away, and because she had her eyes open I wanted to do it without distracting her. I kept my left hand about 20 cm away from her tummy on the front end to read the energy, and then used my right hand to sweep the clutter down into the ground.

The trick was I kept my right hand behind her back, but used intent and visualization to make sure the healing energy wrapped all the way around her and swept it all away. The sensation was unbelievable, I could instantly feel the temperature drop with the left "reading" palm. I kept brushing slowly for another 10-20 seconds, until it felt cold and clear. At that point I grounded her, closed her down and then let her know that we were finished.

The feedback I got after this session was really great, I'm not sure if the stomach ache disappeared completely but she was very happy with the results and said so several times. I also noticed that a few minutes later she was up and about unpacking boxes, in stark contrast to the tired and heavy feeling she had before the session.  All in all this one was also a really good session, because it worked and I didn't have to go through all of the steps. At the end of the day, some of our energy healing recipients don't need to be cleared for 45 minutes, they might need a little bit of healing so that they can go on their way.

My Life in a Mario Bros Game

A couple months ago my guides told me not to worry about everyday things in life, that spiritual exploration was what I really needed to pay attention to. They also told me that I was wasting too much time worrying about my career progression. The message that my classmate passed on during the reading was that if I applied my guides' principles to these areas of my life they would unfold naturally. The idea was reassuring, but until this past week I hadn't had any guidance about my job and my career, so although I wanted to follow their advice I didn't know how to go about it.

On Wednesday this week I was sitting in a training session on business planning, and how we need to approach this with our brands to be successful. There are so many levers to pull, when you are a young brand manager it can be a little bit daunting to choose the right mix. Do I want to run TV to generate awareness of my existing products, or should I focus my efforts on a new launch? Then you need to choose the mix: TV, radio, press, online, sampling or in-store promotions? And in the UK's very trade focused environment, how much of a discount do consumers need. (I have a whole other post to write on the energetic impact of price discounts, I wonder if our bargain hunting is driving value and abundance out of the world. Even if it’s on basics or quasi commodities).

Back to the point about marketing and brand planning.  Before the plan is agreed, a lot of the key stake holders need to be involved. What do the finance, sales, trade marketing and supply teams think? Who else do we need to convince? As I am writing this I am becoming very excited at the idea of going through this process. Moreover, my guides have now given me a new and exciting way of approaching the task:

PRETEND IT'S A GAME

When we were sitting through this lecture my third eye popped open and I started seeing images of a Mario Bros Game, you the one we used to play as kids? Luigi, Mario, cashing up on stars and lives in order to get past the Dragon at the end. All of the core principles that apply in a Mario Bros Game also apply in real life, and in my job in particular.

The message was very clear overall, I should approach my job and the company where I work as a game that I need to learn to play. There are lots of rules to pay attention to in my day to day life, but there are also cheats that will help me get ahead (kind of like warp zones that get you from level 1 to level 5, or a certain brick that will give you an extra life when you break it). I really liked this vision, my guides spoke to me in Nintendo metaphors that made it so much easier to understand their key principles:

Gold Coins: if you think back to the Mario Bros Game, you could accumulate coins that would give you extra lives when you reached 100. This would let you take "risks" during the game, as you had a reservoir of coins/lives to fall back on. In the work life, our credibility is much like this reservoir of coins. Every job well done will give us dozens of coins, and this will help us bankroll the trickier moments (and the mistakes). The message was not to worry too much over getting every little thing right. if I accumulate enough coins I will have something to fall back on.

Get Around Brick Walls: One of the images I got was Mario running into the same dungeon wall over and over again, before he finally used the jump button to go over the wall. If one approach isn't working just change tactic, look for the power jump button and get out of there.

Pause Button: This is a biggie, especially for those of us who have trouble disconnecting from the job. Remember how easy it was to hit pause and go get a sandwich or a snack? Hit the pause button when you go home, and unfreeze it the next morning. The game will still be there for you.

Multiple Lives: We all start out with 3 lives, you can make a big mistake and start fresh again.

Warp Zones: It can be really tough to work you way through all 8 levels on Mario Bros, and it takes a lot of time and practice to get there. Nintendo built in warp zones so we can get to the fun stuff faster.  We have warp tunnels at work too, they come in the form of people we meet that can throw us a life line and bring us up to the next level. Working relationships are all important for this reason, playing well with others will fast track our progress.

Game Over / You Lost: This can happen too, though I'd like to think that it’s about life cycles coming to an end and I hope that it doesn't mean that one day I get fired (although that's also a possibility). At the end of the day, when the Game Over screen pops up, what do we do? It's usually when we need to decide if we want to play again, or if we'll leave it and come back another day. Either option works.

Finally, it's just a game! The big thing for me to focus on in this lifetime is the spiritual path.

How to Hear Your Angels?

I had lunch at a friend's house today, and I was lucky enough to sit next to her auntie who also happens to be a Reiki Master. We were talking about writers like Caroline Myss whom I love, and Doreen Virtue who I have fun with, even though something keeps me from trusting her work and her angel messages entirely.

It might be that after two years in the UK, I've lost touch with the very polished, packaged, consumer vibe in the USA. It just feels a little bit too polished, and a little bit too perfect. Almost too good to be true … that’s how I see Doreen V.

My friend’s auntie also had a really good point about whether or not there really are humans who can see and hear the Archangels.  A few weeks ago, in one of my meditations I asked my Spirit Guides why I could see and hear them, but I could only sense the presence of the angels. Their response was that an angel's vibration is too high for me to have direct contact. I just had to trust that they were with me and  know that they were looking out for me. Even now if I ask Archangel Michael for help, I'll reflect on what I need help with and then I get on with it. Only after the day has gone by will I start noticing all the little miracles that happened along the way.

So today my skeptical side made an appearance.

I'm sure there are people out there with higher vibrations than mine, after all I am still a newbie with lots to learn and a lifetime ahead of me. I am wondering, has anyone actually seen or heard an angel? And if so, will you tell us about it?

Thanks!

Starry Starry Night 🌟

I have been feeling very grounded and awake today, it's new for me and I thought it would be worth documenting. For me, being grounded means being firmly in my body and aware of my surroundings, as well as looking through my eyes and actually seeing what is there. Seeing, smelling, hearing, and feeling. Most people would take this for granted, but in my daily life I tend to be wrapped in a bubble of thoughts and imagination.

Yesterday I went for a jog and suddenly felt compelled to take off my earphones and stop running. Instead, I walked around the block exploring the streets behind my house, and just listened to the sound of my sneakers on the pavement. It struck me that I don't really hear that sound, and it should be more familiar as levitation isn't one of my psychic abilities lol. The experience was really peaceful, I think I could hear every last sound because I was the only person out on the street. The sky was clear blue, with a few stars and all I could hear was the breeze. I really like these warmer nights, it brings all of the life back into the city.

Today I got the same "aware" feeling when I was sitting in my flat, and for the first time in a while I started noticing all of the details. My dresser table is really messy, there is make up strewn all over it. My shopping from 2 weeks ago is still in a nice little Phase Eight bag in the corner, and there are a couple books on the nightstand that I should have cleared out at least a week ago. So, I'm sure you're wondering why this is important in a blog about psychic development??? Well, developing our extra sensory perception is about achieving a heightened sense of awareness.  For me, the biggest challenge is actually becoming aware of the details that I should be able to see with my "regular" senses.

A few months ago I was suprised by a very vivid meditation in one of my classes. I could smell the ocean in the background, I could feel the cold earth under my feet and I could taste the salt water in my mouth. What impressed me was the level of detail, as I sensed things that I usually wouldn't give a thought to in real life. That was when I really started to enjoy the meditations, and what my Guides are telling me now is that I should make an effort to capture all of those sensations in my day to day life. My waking moments are more "vivid" when I'm aware. And for some reason, I have the feeling that drinking more water is helping me achieve this, now that I'm off coffee I feel more myself.  =)

Blackouts During Meditations?

Has anyone ever blacked out during a meditation? I had one of those yesterday, only I can't say whether I blacked out or if I just went into a very very chilled state somewhere in limbo. I've had a headache on and off for the past week, and I felt like I needed some extra healing. My instuition told me to sit down on my sofa, put a cushion behind my neck and just start grounding myself.

The lights were on outside and my window was open so the room wasn't totally dark. I dropped the anchors from the bottom of my feet into the floor, I know use this meditation where I visualize a huge wheel unwinding as the big grey wires sink into the ground (gravity is the best grounding technique). My focus was on my legs, while the bottom of my feel could feel the wheel turning. I slowly let calves relax, then my thighs, my stomach and all the way up till I got to my neck. When my face and head started falling asleep I closed my eyes and suddenly zoomed out. I didn't feel like I was asleep, it was just pitch black and out of the blue my eyes flew open again 1 hour later.

My headache is almost gone, and I feel a lot more relaxed now. Oh ... I missed one thing, when I was relaxing my psychic eye went over every inch of my brain and slowly put it to sleep. I could feel my spinal column falling asleep at the base of the neck, and my attention followed every last nook and cranny till my head was empty inside and out. I feel like I've had a brain transplant lol.

Also made a small effort to talk to the headache and ask it what was wrong. This was my 1st attempt at medical intuition. And it told me I was spending too much time updating my facebook on my phone, so I'm going to have to lay off the fan page for a while. I didn't go on once today and my eyes and head feel fine. I also felt a pressure on my brow chakra, and got the message that the pressure point was meant to open it up. So I'm looking forward to more exciting clairvoyant readings  =)

Will get my eyes checked as well, just in case.
