Heart Centered Living



I have been centering from the heart for the past few days, and it makes a huge difference. I feel calm and unshakeable.  I've also been taking my lovely Bach Flower Remedies to clear out my emotional body and connect with myself again. One of my classmates gave me a great reading last week, reminding me that I'd lost touch with this heart center and with the calm that had  grounded and centered me in the past. She told me to stop worrying about the little things, and to make an effort to stay balanced. The past couple of months I've been so wrapped up in all of the things I want to do and when they need t happen, that I forgot to just be myself.

  1. Good for you...I'm aiming at heart centered living in general these days. I'm a total cerebral Virgo, that uses her head too much. LOL! I'm finding that leading with my heart leads to a calmer existence and happier life.

    Do you have any heart centered exercises that you like?

  2. Hello There! Thanks for the comment! What's helped me so far are these Bach Flower Remedies, mind or matter it's helped clear out some of the clutter I brought into my mental and emotional state. Whole Foods has a really good on-shelf book that explains each one and helps you identify patterns. About a year ago I bought 6 of the remedies, when I feel out of sorts I get my pendulum out and let it tell me which ones I need =)

    Otherwise I listen to music that is soothing and "heart centered" - funny enough "Where is the Love" by the Black Eyed Peas does a lot, if you listen to the lyrics it talks about how all this stuff going on around us isn't part of the bigger plan.

    Finally I make an effort to ground myself, stay present and keep my focus on my heart chakra. It helps to sit down for 5 minutes in the morning and visualize roots going down into the earth, and I let the energy from the earth creep up the roots, past my base, sacral and solar plexus to the heart chakra.

    Otherwise I just make sure my chakras are all desensitized when I'm out and about, and if I feel myself getting worked up about anything I try to get back to this spot and stay grounded. Like a rock =)

    Those are the good days! I've been on a streak the past few days
